THE search for missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 will resume this month, officials have declared.
More than a decade after the plane disappeared packed with 239 people, Malaysian authorities will return to the search in a bid to bring “closure” to families of the missing.

This last-ditch probe, due to last 55 days, began in March but was cut short by bad weather – and so will kickstart again on December 30.
Malaysia’s transport ministry said: “The latest development underscores the [Malaysia’s] commitment to providing closure to the families affected by this tragedy.”
Flight MH370, a Boeing 777, disappeared in 2014 while travelling from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing and sparked the largest search in aviation history.
A whopping £56million is on the table for exploration firm Ocean Infinity on a “no find, no fee” basis – meaning it only get the cash if it finds the wreckage.
The search due to cover a vast area of 5,790 square miles in the southern Indian Ocean.
