NESTLE will launch new KitKat bars this month in a range of flavours.
The confectionery giant is launching the chocolate-wafer bars in two new mini sizes.
This includes a brand new multipack of mini Kit Kat chunky bars.
The bite-sized treat comes in a pack of 12, and one piece contains just 83 calories.
The range has already launched in the UK and costs £4 in Tesco or £3.25 if you have a Clubcard.
And then later this month, the coffee and chocolate maker will launch a new Kit Kat Mini mix range.
Again, these will be smaller versions of the two-finger Kit Kats, worth just 93 calories each.
A pack will come with 14 bars and include five flavours for shoppers to choose from.
These include white chocolate and milk chocolate.
Shoppers will also be able to try bite sized pieces of the rare hazelnut, salted caramel and peanut butter Kit Kat flavours.
These flavours launched earlier this year in larger sharing bars, but this is the first time UK shoppers can get their hands on the mini version.
Stephanie Scales, marketing manager for KitKat at Nestlé UK & Ireland, said: “We’ve taken our much-loved KitKat products and turned them into mini versions that can easily be shared with family and friends.
“Individually wrapped, this launch is about offering shoppers a bite of the delicious KitKat bars they know and love, in smaller, convenient portion sizes.”
It comes as Kit Kat has launched a range of new flavours in the past few weeks, including a new Gingerbread flavour of the bar.
You can buy a pack of 8 KitKat 2 Finger Gingerbread Flavour Chocolate Biscuit Bars for £2.20 at Sainsbury’s.
Nestlé also released a new KitKat Chunky Funky with marbled milk and white chocolate.
More chocolate news
And that is not the only news from Nestle.
The giant has slashed the size of Quality Street from 600g to 550g.
The new purple tubs have approximately 57 chocolates – down from 63.
A Nestlé spokesperson cited the cost of manufacturing, “ingredients and transport” for the cut.
For the second year running, the iconic Christmas chocolates will be sold in paper tubs.
The eco-friendly octagonal tubs will be rolled out across select Tesco stores starting from October,
How to save money on chocolate

We all love a bit of chocolate from now and then, but you don’t have to break the bank buying your favourite bar.
Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how to cut costs…
Go own brand – if you’re not too fussed about flavour and just want to supplant your chocolate cravings, you’ll save by going for the supermarket’s own brand bars.
Shop around – if you’ve spotted your favourite variety at the supermarket, make sure you check if it’s cheaper elsewhere.
Websites like Trolley.co.uk let you compare prices on products across all the major chains to see if you’re getting the best deal.
Look out for yellow stickers – supermarket staff put yellow, and sometimes orange and red, stickers on to products to show they’ve been reduced.
They usually do this if the product is coming to the end of its best-before date or the packaging is slightly damaged.
Buy bigger bars – most of the time, but not always, chocolate is cheaper per 100g the larger the bar.
So if you’ve got the appetite, and you were going to buy a hefty amount of chocolate anyway, you might as well go bigger.
