A NEPO-baby walked the red carpet at the London premiere of Guy Ritchie’s Young Sherlock looking just like his Hollywood star dad – but can you guess who he is?
Famous faces stepped out in the capital on Tuesday evening to celebrate the Amazon Prime Video series and the show is full of real life family connections.
The model and actor looked dapper in a white shirt and dark suit as he posed for photographers at Queen Elizabeth Hall on the red carpet.
Max Irons, 40, is the son of Hollywood A-lister and English actor Jeremy Irons and Irish acting veteran Sinéad Cusack.
He plays Sherlock’s older brother, Mycroft Holmes, in the new series.
Max attended the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, before going on to star in Red Riding Hood and The Host.
Some of his other film credits include The Riot Club, Woman in Gold, The Wife and Bitter Harvest.
While his TV projects include The White Queen, ITV’s Tutankhamun, Condor and The Little Drummer Girl.
He was most recently seen in the sweeping period drama Miss Austen which aired on the BBC.
He is married Tatler’s Creative Director Sophie Pera in 2019 after the pair started dating back in 2013.
But Max is not the only star with family connections to star in the new Young Sherlock as Lily Allen’s sister is appearing too.
Teddie Malleson-Allen, 19, landed two huge roles last year as Gina da Souza in Paramount+ series MobLand and in Amazon Prime Video’s Malice.
Lily, 40, and Teddie share the same dad, iconic actor Keith Allen.
Keith, 72, shares the Smile hitmaker with movie producer Alison Owen, while Teddie’s mum is actress Tamzin Malleson – who has appeared in huge dramas including Unforgotten and Marcella.
Teddie was joined at the premiere by another nepo-baby, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, who stars as the lead character in Young Sherlock.
Hero’s uncle is Harry Potter star Ralph Fiennes, who played Voldemort in the hugely successful movie franchise.
Hero, 28, also appeared in the films as young Tom Riddle.
From visionary director Guy Ritchie, Young Sherlock is described as “an irreverent, action-packed mystery that charts the legendary origin story of the world’s greatest detective”.
All eight episodes of the series will premiere on March 4, 2026, exclusively on Prime Video.
The new drama will follow a charismatic, youthfully defiant Sherlock Holmes as he meets meets none other than James Moriarty.
Dragged into a murder investigation that threatens his liberty, Sherlock’s first ever case unravels a globe-trotting conspiracy, leading to an explosive showdown that alters the course of his life forever.
