
A MUM has been charged with the murder of her daughter after the tot tragically died in a horror house fire.
Lesma-Rose Wibier, four, was killed in the blaze at a property in Gateshead Close, near Rusholme, at around 12.35pm on Sunday, March 2.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “Carrin Wibier (14/05/1980) of Gateshead Close, Rusholme, has been charged with murder and arson with intent to endanger life.
“She has been remanded in custody before an appearance at Manchester Magistrates Court tomorrow (Wednesday 7 January 2026).
“The charge relates to the death of four-year-old girl Lesma-Rose Wibier at a house on Gateshead Close on Sunday 2 March 2025.”
