M&S has brought out a new fakeaway dine-in deal that’s got shoppers racing to stores.
The Chip Shop Dine In Meal Deal costs just £12 for two people and includes a main, two sides and a sauce.

That’s the equivalent of £6 per portion – far less than the £11.23 you’d pay on average at a chippy, according to the latest analysis from Tombola.
Purse strings will be tightening as the UK appears on course for higher inflation in the coming months, so this could be a good way of cutting back while still allowing yourself an end-of-the-week treat.
The main options in the deal include Beer Battered Haddock Fillets, Beer Battered Cod Fillets, and Breaded Scottish Scampi.
You can also get sides like Chunky Chips, Crispy Onion Rings, Buttery Mashed Potato and Crispy Potato Waffle Fries.
The sauces include Chip Shop Curry Sauce, Chip Shop Mushy Peas and Chunky Tartare Sauce.
Shoppers raved about the new deal on the Snack Reviews Facebook group, with one saying: “We had this a few days ago. V nice it was.”
Another wrote: “That is extremely cheap, good idea, you pay £15 for chippy per person.”
A third person said the haddock option was “gorgeous” and a “decent piece of fish”.
Morrisons is also running a similar meal deal in partnership with Harry Ramsden’s.
It costs just £10 for a main and two sides, and you can choose from a selection of Harry Ramsden’s items like the Jumbo Battered Cod Fillets or Jumbo Battered Sausages.
