I would disagree with my libertarian friends who believe that America’s interests and responsibilities end where our borders do, but I can respect that they have arguments that make sense to many people. America First and all that. 





I could go on and on about why I am not a libertarian, but what’s the point? 

Instead, I want to point out that, in this case, the Chair of the Libertarian Party in Montana is a grotesque hypocrite, and even if she would oppose Oppose Operation Epic Fury on principled grounds, she sure seems to hate Persians and apparently thinks Iran under the Ayatollah Khamenei was a great place, at least if you read her X feed. 

I don’t know Melissa Wong, but she is perhaps the first libertarian I have met or read who gets all hot and bothered by women celebrating freedom. 

It IS true that there are a lot of Persian women who are creating videos celebrating the demise of the  Ayatollah and fervently hoping that the entire regime collapses, and it is also true that a good number are, to the delight of many of us, rather scantily clad. 

But is that a surprise, given that they are protesting a regime that forces women to cover themselves head to toe, and that will beat, rape, and even sometimes kill women if they don’t please the “morality police” in Iran? 





OF COURSE, many Persian women will display a lot of skin when celebrating the demise of the regime, and rightly so. It is the most in-your-face way to give the middle finger to a regime that treats women as Iran has for half a century. 

If the sight of skin offends so much, you show the skin. 

Of all the people whom you would expect to say “You be you,” a libertarian would seemingly be at the top of the list. I’ve had arguments with (admittedly younger) libertarians about whether copulating with goats in public should be legal, and just about every libertarian I know is also a libertine. 





Demanding that Persian women keep themselves covered up like Handmaids is, shall we say, entirely off-brand. Unless the problem you have is not what they are wearing, but what they are celebrating. 

And, indeed, if you go through Wong’s X feed, it’s pretty clear that her problem with Operation Epic Fury has everything to do with Israel and the Jews and little to do with either foreign interventionism. I can’t prove that this libertarian’s problem with young Persian women showing some skin while celebrating the imminent liberation of 50 million women in Iran comes from her hatred of Jews, but it sure seems that way to me. 

Just a guess. Not sure why I think that, but…

There is something delicious about seeing the antisemitic wokescolds getting their panties in a bunch about women exuberantly celebrating the liberation of tens of millions of women. It is schadenfreudlicious. 





Of course, it doesn’t hurt that the women who are celebrating are attractive, but if it were grandmas liberating themselves from the necessity of wearing hijabs and dancing to YMCA, I would still be happy to watch the videos. 

Pure joy is a thing of beauty. 

One of the most stunning things about the post-October 7th world is how many antisemites have come out of the woodwork. The “diversity is our strength” crowd defines diversity in a very peculiar and limited way, and many of the “America Only” crowd seem especially focused on hating Israel. 

That this hatred has made them ally with, of all people, the Ayatollah Khamenei tells you where their priorities lie. It is not American interests, or the interest of promoting freedom, or really about much else other than hating Jews. 





Very disappointing. 

Seems like many are enjoying Iranians dancing Trump’s signature dance! So I figured, why not join the fun with my lil sister and drop a fresh, original take 💃🇺🇸🇮🇷

I think by now you have learned what really kept Iranians alive all these years under oppression. What was our true resistance? Our culture.

A culture dedicated to celebrating beauty, life, happiness. It has zero connection to the death cult occupying our homeland.

Invaders have come time and again, once upon a time, and right up to now, trying to dominate us, plunge us into shadows. But we rise every time because we refuse to surrender this spirit.

It’s a culture woven with poetry. Alive with art and music, Rooted in appreciating strength and beauty without apology. 

In our culture, women’s radiant beauty is honored and cherished. It’s nothing shameful. It’s nothing evil. It’s something pure to celebrate openly. That’s why we Iranian women always put on our best clothes and dance.

Iran means the home of Aryans, noble people.

We’re not dancing for the death of the dictator. We’re dancing for our liberation from him, from the chains he imposed. We are celebrating the bright future we have ahead.

This is our fire. This is why we move. This is why we win. We will make Iran great again.
