Earlier today, I wrote about Don Lemon’s ridiculous screed about how white men as a class are broken. The premises underlying his racist rant were wrong, the condescending attitude annoying and unearned, and, I suggested, it might be wise for a black man to avoid bringing up racial comparisons in case, you know, some less-than-charitable person might start comparing statistics regarding violent behavior and other characteristics.
Just sayin’. Cue the accusations of racism, now.
Lemon is just the tip of the iceberg–it is now common to disparage white men as a class–and it is not only in the media that such racist rants have become common.
UPDATE: @FortHaysState says they are “reviewing” this professor’s statements and ask for “patience.”
The professor appears to have deleted her socials.
Notably, the statement DOES NOT condemn the professor’s comments calling White Americans “dangerous animals”

Professor of Psychology, NuNu La Chance, of Fort Hays State University, shares her professional opinion that mirrors Lemon’s. She took to Facebook to share her opinion that Charlie Kirk’s assassination was karma, and that white men are the most dangerous “animals” on the planet, according to statistics that she declines to share.
Actually, mosquitoes are considered the most dangerous animals on the planet by public health agencies, but that is a detail, and one could argue that communists are even more dangerous.
I will not opine on Professor NuNu’s right to utter these absurd ideas and remain employed by an institution of higher learning. While they demonstrate a depraved indifference to acceptable social behavior that should be shown by people in authority and an appalling indifference to the facts, you could argue that finding a professor who exhibits these qualities is as common as being pelted by rain in a hurricane. If we expected every bigoted, racist, and morally depraved academic to be fired, about two-thirds of all academics would be out of a job.
Almost every university is implementing Jim Crow policies these days, and attacking the pale penis people is something of a sport for liberals. So I will let others argue about whether she should be fired for her racist, bigoted stupidity.
However, the use of “animals” to describe human beings in a derogatory fashion is a firing offense at almost any university, at least when attached to a racial category. Insert “black” instead of “white” in that sentence, and there would be an outcry heard around the world, television specials, nightly news broadcasts, and endless discussions on The View about the growing danger of white supremacy.
You know that, I know that, and every person in America knows that.
Moreover, you can rest assured that NuNu would be jockeying to get to the front of the parade of people with pitchforks marching to oppose racism.
Liberals know that they can get away with this version of racism because nobody within their ranks–and since people in their ranks control every significant cultural and media institution in the country, that is almost everybody who matters to them and their employment prospects–is on their side.
It’s like being a proponent of segregation in the South in the 1930s–the only people who might face consequences are those who dissent from the consensus. Holding racist views is nearly mandatory among liberals in positions of influence.
NuNu may or may not be able to keep her job–we are in a moment of backlash, and universities have been put on notice by the Trump administration that racist policies are a no-no, even for NuNu–but whether the good professor keeps her job is a matter of little import except to her.
What matters is the larger problem, which is that liberals feel liberated to celebrate the murder of their political opponents and slander entire classes of people, fully expecting that their colleagues will applaud and defend them.
This is an acid eating away at our country’s social trust, which is their goal. E Pluribus Unum is dangerous to their ideology, and the ideology must be discredited.
It’s the shifting of the Overton Window that matters. Professors should feel free to challenge the Overton Window–it is one of their roles–but when an elite class casually accepts racism and promotion of violence, the society cannot survive for long.
NuNu and Don Lemon aren’t the problem; it’s the people who back their dangerous words who are.
The only people who can change the Overton Window in the short term are the leaders on the left. You and I have been exiled from polite society.
I’m pretty sure they aren’t willing to do that. They would rather burn it all down.
