SHOPPERS have expressed disappointment as Morrisons cafés will not be serving up a seasonal favourite this year.
The supermarket chain had run the meal across all of their cafés for two decades, but has now discontinued the offering.

Morrisons cafés will not sell their hot Christmas meals this winter, for the first time in more than 20 years.
Fans of the hot dinners expressed their disappointment at the news.
One person wrote on X: “After over 20 years of having Christmas lunch at my local store, I’ve been told you’re not doing it there this year. Is that all Morrisons Cafes or certain ones?”
A Morrisons spokesperson told The Sun: “It is correct that we won’t be offering a Christmas dinner in our Cafes this year and instead, we have launched our new Winter Warmer Menu.
“The new menu is designed to offer hearty meals for customers and also bring back some requested classics such as liver & onions with mash and peas.”
The change marks an end to a decades-long tradition, but the supermarket said many shoppers are fans of the menu update.
“Since the new Winter Warmer menu launched, we have received some really positive feedback from our customers and colleagues and the new meals have proven to be really popular,” it said.
In the past, the hot Christmas meal was available as part of a great value meal deal.
Customers could buy a full three course meal, with the dinner as a main and a Christmas pudding as dessert, for less than £10.
The spokesperson explained that there will still be seasonal offers to celebrate the festive season.
They said: “On Monday 15th December, we will also be launching a new meal deal where customers can purchase any sandwich or toastie, a hot side and a refillable hot drink for £6.
“We also offer a great selection of festive sandwiches, toasties and hot desserts, including a panettone bread and butter pudding, along with other favourites like mince pies and iced Christmas cake.”
