DISTURBING video shows the moment staff in high-visibility jackets began shoving each other during a chaotic altercation with guests on a thrill ride at Winter Wonderland.
The dramatic footage appears to show staff clashing with a group of riders at this holiday attraction.
The incident occurred at London‘s Hyde Park Winter Wonderland on Boxing Day – just days following a shocking disturbance on Christmas Eve that required officers to deploy tasers.
A clip recorded at the location on Friday shows staff in bright jackets confronting a group of men.
In an unexpected development, the ride attendants then begin pushing and jostling each other after one separates another from the group.
The ride attendant persistently pushes his coworker backwards, pressing against his chest to distance him from the confrontation.
Yet the second staff member resists by leaping over the first to help colleagues still handling the group of males.
The video circulated on social media with the accompanying text: “Just a normal day at Winter Wonderland.”
A Winter Wonderland spokesperson said: “Hyde Park Winter Wonderland operates with extensive security and safety measures already in place, including visible security, trained staff and on-site medical teams, all of which are kept under continual review throughout the event.
“Where incidents occur, we review the circumstances and adjust deployment, staffing or processes as appropriate, working closely with the Metropolitan Police and relevant authorities to ensure proportionate measures are in place at all times.
“The vast majority of guests enjoy their visit without incident and can feel safe visiting the event.”
Recently, a major altercation on Christmas Eve involved authorities deploying a taser on at least one member of the public.
Recordings depict multiple people engaging in physical fights while staff seem to force guests to the ground.
One witness said: “It was just another day of chaos.
“It feels something has gone badly wrong if even the security guards are having to hold each other back from the conflict.
“Winter Wonderland might sound like a nice Christmas event for the family. But there’s just been fight after fight.
“How does it get to the point where even security guards have to hold each other back? It just looks terrible.
Earlier this month, a separate altercation resulted in one woman being struck and losing consciousness.
The attraction has faced backlash for being excessively crowded and expensive, and recently ranked as the festive site with the highest number of complaints across Europe.
