This is the heart-stopping moment a dumper lorry loaded with 17-tonnes of cargo bulldozed into 12 cars and sent a bus hurtling off the street.
Footage captured the massive dumper truck flying downhill at a frightening speed, its brakes seemingly gone, as panicked motorists sat trapped in a queue of traffic in the Medellín district of Robledo, Colombia, on November 22.
The runaway giant appeared to make no attempt to stop before ploughing straight into the back of a packed line of vehicles, shunting them aside like small toys.
It then barreled onward, crunching into cars one by one as desperate screams rang out.
A public bus was then struck with such force that it was knocked clean off the road and sent skidding into a vacant lot, leaving a shower of twisted metal and shattered glass in its wake.
Authorities said the shocking chain reaction crash involved 12 vehicles, wit one car completely obliterated in the carnage.
Three people were injured – including the bus driver – and were rushed to hospital as emergency crews swarmed the scene.
Police say 20 officers and traffic investigators have been deployed to unravel what went so badly wrong.

Early supports suggest a catastrophic brake failure may have left the driver helpless as the giant machine raced downhill with deadly momentum.
Experts are now examining the wreckage and road to determine the full cause of the devastating smash.
This incident comes amid a series of terrifying road disasters across South America.
Just days earlier, incredible video from Brazil showed driver Railson Souza, 48, soaring off a road and crashing down a steep staircase after a sudden headache caused him to lose control.
A clip of the accident captured the security worker flying through the air in his car before ending up trapped in the twisted wreckage of his upturned vehicle.
Photos of his severely damaged car showed the level of destruction caused to the driver’s side after it rolled onto its roof at speed and flew down the flight of stairs.
The footage of the crash appeared to show that Souza may have fainted at the wheel as he could be seen heading straight for the abyss and coming off the ground, rather than taking the bend in the road which could have kept him out of danger.
Metal railings in the middle of the pedestrian stairs were left in pieces on the ground as Souza smashed into them on the way down.
Firefighters rushed to the scene to free him before an ambulance took him to hospital.
But Souza was miraculously released within hours after a scan and X-rays showed he had not broken a single broken bone and had not suffered any other significant injuries.
And in Peru, earlier this month, a horrific bus plunge claimed the lives of at least 37 passengers, with another 25 left inured, after it careered nearly 700ft into a ravine near Ocona.
Harrowing images from that disaster showed the vehicle lying on its side by a river.
