This is the moment two heros armed with just a broom tackled a gang on machete robbers during a raid on a jewellery shop in north London.
CCTV footage from Bilezzik, a shop selling gold-plated jewellery in Green Lanes, north London, shows one of the armed gang driving a moped into the shop on February 24.
Another person wearing a bike helmet follows them in with a hammer, smashing the display cases.
Meanwhile, as onlookers begin approaching the storefront and someone can be heard screaming, another person wearing a bike helmet is seen pacing outside the jewellery store, slashing the air with a huge machete.
Footage shows him running after and slashing at an onlooker, before another man arms himself with a broom and approaches the man wielding the blade.
The machete-wielder slashes at a stack of water bottles and shouts at the man armed with the broom, who is seen retreating in the opposite direction.
But another man with a broom approaches the knifeman in the road as they were trying to flee the scene.
A woman who works at the shop is seen from interior CCTV taking a customer to a safe place.

The employee said she doubted the robbers knew that the jewellery was mainly made of silver, with gold-plating on top.
‘I think soon they will be caught,’ the woman said.
‘Our jewellery is gold-plated, but I guess [the robbers] didn’t realise that.’
