INFLUENCER Perrie Sian has clapped back at haters who claim she is “nasty” to her fiancé Ricci Mandal.
Not only this, but the fashion powerhouse also addressed the belief that she is “not in love” with her man.
Speaking on a recent episode of her podcast, Can I Be Candid?, the blonde and Ricci discussed internet speculation that they are in an unequal relationship.
The content creator, who recently released a new Primark range after her previous self-out collection, said: “A lot of people genuinely believe that I’m quite nasty to you and that this isn’t mutual.”
Jokingly, Ricci then chimed in: “They don’t need to believe, they can see it.”
But Perrie, who describes herself as “unfiltered” and is constantly joking around with Ricci on social media, then added: “People genuinely believe that I’m not in love with you. That’s what people believe.

“People actually believe that we’re not in love, or you love me but I don’t love you.”
Setting the record straight, the 34-year-old, who got engaged to Ricci in July 2023, confirmed: “We have that relationship where we take the p**s out of each other.”
Following this, Perrie, who was previously criticised as “brutal” and accused of “knocking Ricci’s confidence” after she slammed his “offensive” fashion purchases, explained: “Me and Ricci have a very bantery relationship, but what we don’t do is have big arguments.
“Point blank, we don’t do we?”
In agreement, Ricci then nodded: “No, we don’t.”
As well as this, Perrie, who has become one of the UK’s leading fashion creators, acknowledged: “And if we do have an argument, it doesn’t get carried on, it gets nipped in the bud.”
Sharing his thoughts on their dynamic, Ricci recognised: “Here’s the thing, we don’t argue about big things anyway. We argue about things like food.”
Meanwhile, the former call centre girl who lives in Bedfordshire with Ricci and their two dogs, gushed: “We’re a team.
“We bicker more than we argue, but I think because we have a bantery relationship, we know each other’s limits so well.
“We press each other’s buttons but not in a way where it’s malicious or anything.
“I feel like a lot of arguments in relationships come from being misunderstood – but we communicate so well with each other and I do think that is because of how we are with each other.”
More on Perrie Sian
HERE, Perrie Sian reveals all on her friendship with Molly-Mae, how she got famous and what sets her apart from others.
Speaking exclusively to Fabulous’ Kelly Allen, she says: “Molly-Mae’s honestly the most gorgeous person and she couldn’t have been more supportive of the things that I do.
“I’m so supportive of her and her brand and she is a really special person that’s deserves so much success. She’s a gorgeous person!”
Discussing how she got famous, Perrie adds: “I’ve always loved fashion and I used to share my fashion on Facebook – and then lockdown happened.
“I just decided that I had more time to share my favourite outfits so I started taking mirror photos and sharing my outfits.”
Then in 2021, she did something that gained her a whopping 80,000 social media followers in less than 24 hours.
Perrie recalls: “I actually did this giveaway that was quite iconic.
“I did a giveaway for a Dyson Airwrap and it exploded overnight, so I went from 40,000 followers to 120,000 literally overnight and that gave me that confidence of, ‘hold on a minute, I’ve been given an opportunity here. Take this seriously.’”
That same year, Perrie started collaborating with fast fashion giant In The Style – following in the footsteps of other big name influencers including Stacey Solomon and Jacqueline Jossa.
She went on to have 24-sell out collections, including the ‘Dubai Collection’ which sold over 18,000 units in just 15 minutes, and her success led to her appointment as In The Style’s first-ever Creative Director in July 2023.
Along with her work for In The Style and regularly promoting the new-in sections of Primark, Zara and H&M, other brand deals soon came rolling in and she worked on advertisements for GymShark, Calzedonia and Karen Millen.
While Perrie hasn’t been doing this for that long, she believes there’s something that sets her apart from others.
“For me I think something that’s different is that I’ve really connected with people that follow me,” she says.
“I DM people all the time, respond and chat and here we are over 3 million social media followers later.
“It’s just embedded in my brain to reply. I can’t explain it and get it probably isn’t sustainable, but it’s what I enjoy.
“I don’t enjoy just posting, I enjoy the community and the conversation that comes with it.
“So listen, it might sometimes just be an emoji or a love heart, but it’s my way of saying that I recognise you, I hear you. I recognise your support and I want you to know that it means a lot to me.”
She continues: “I will take the time to respond because I just think if it wasn’t for you guys, I wouldn’t be where I am. So that community feel is super important to me.”
The @canibecandidpod podcast clip, which was recently shared on TikTok, clearly left many open-mouthed as at the time of writing it had quickly racked up 49,400 views in just 24 hours.
While many previously believed Perrie was “nasty” to Ricci, numerous viewers eagerly raced to the comments to express similarities with their own relationships.
One person said: “You and Ricci are literally like me and my partner, we have banter and we bicker but we don’t argue.”
Another added: “It’s tongue in cheek, it’s a bit of a laugh.”
A third commented: “Me and my other half are like this!”
Meanwhile, someone else chimed in: “This is me and my boyfriend. I couldn’t love our relationship more and I love watching you two.”
At the same time, another user wrote: “People are just so delicate these days. I have a very similar relationship with my husband and I get called nasty ALL the time! It’s banter, he gets it, WE get it and that’s all that matters!”
