Molly-Mae Hague hits back at mum-shamers and slams ‘outside noise’ after Bambi biting drama

MOLLY-MAE Hague has hit back at mum-shamers, calling it “outside noise”, after daughter Bambi bit her friends.

She opened up about her career and family life, both of which play out on screen in her hit docuseries, Molly-Mae: Behind It All.

Such is Molly’s profile, everyone seems to have an opinion on her life, and recently her followers had their say after Molly revealed Bambi had bitten friends at nursery.

Reflecting on the critical comments, she told the audience: “Ten years of being in this world has taught me a lot. If your family know who you are and they know your choices, and your friends do and they love you… I don’t really take much notice to the outside noise.

“I mean, sometimes it’s actually great constructive criticism, and I’ll see something and I’m like, ‘yeah, fair enough, that’s a different way to look at it’.

Molly-Mae pokes fun at daughter Bambi’s plans to bite friends

“And yeah, sometimes I do actually appreciate the comments because sometimes they’re actually really helpful, but other than that, I just try and stay in my lane.

“Because as much as I get that it’s funny TV she’s just a child and I have to kind of manage it quite carefully.”

Earlier this week, Molly-Mae was branded “too soft” as she poked fun at Bambi’s biting habit.

She was sent a personalised package from Heinz featuring tins of beans with the names of Bambi’s friends on them who she had intended to bite.

Molly said: “Whoever did this in the Heinz beans team, you need a raise!

“In the post from Heinz, I received Emily’s beans, Bambi’s beans and Dory’s beans… if you know, you know. I’m not going to say too much about that.”

Molly continued: “I love that people think it’s Dory, but it’s actually ‘Story’ – that’s who she was talking about.” It’s not acceptable, but it was ‘Story’.

“Either way, it’s not ok and, either way, I don’t condone it, but I was happy the internet was able to laugh with me about something for once and didn’t mum-shame me too much.”

In a previous vlog, Bambi said: “I’m going to bite someone.

“I’m gonna bite Dory.”

To this, Molly-Mae, who has 1.9million subscribers on YouTube and a jaw-dropping £6million fortune, said: “No, we don’t use our mouth to bite do we?”

Seconds later, she asked: “What do you use your mouth for?”

She then added: “For food, for eating. We bite our food, we don’t bite anyone.”

But it appeared that Bambi wasn’t totally on board, as she said: “We bite…Emily.

“We bite… Dory.”

Whilst laughing, Molly, who previously admitted she is “selfish” and “not cut out” to deal with the stresses of parenting, added: “No. Don’t know why I’m laughing at that.

“We bite croissants. We bite pasta. We bite pizza.”

Some thought Bambi’s behaviour was “wild”, while others were stunned by Molly-Mae’s reaction.

One mother wrote: “I’ve never heard/known a child to openly say they’re going to bite a kid.”

A second shared: “The threat is wild.”

Someone else simply penned: “Concerning.”
