Miss England has hit back at pagaent bosses after they released video footage of her seemingly enjoying a dinner in India where she claimed she was made to ‘feel like a prostitute’.
Milla Magee, 24, sensationally quit Miss World because she claimed that she was made to sit with groups of middle-aged male guests while ‘thanking them’ for their money.
The lifeguard from Newquay, Cornwall, had flown to Hyderabad on May 7, for publicity events for the competition’s final, but quickly realised she was only there to be stared at.
She claimed she was expected to sit with the men for the entire evening and entertain them. The 24-year-old said she thought it was ‘unbelievable’ and ‘wrong’ and she was left feeling uncomfortable in the situation.
In response, Miss World bosses posted videos of Ms Magee at the event, where she appeared to be enjoying the experience.
Posting on Instagram, the Miss World account wrote: ‘The Miss World Organisation is releasing unedited videos recorded during Milla’s stay in India, in which she expresses gratitude, joy, and appreciation for the experience.
‘These videos reflect her own words and sentiments, and serve as a direct contradiction to the recent false narratives.’
But Ms Magee hit back at the post, claiming she was forced to do what she was told.

The history-making beauty – the first Miss England in the competition’s 74-year history to resign – said she had gone in with hopes of making a difference

Milla Magee, 24, a lifeguard from Newquay, Cornwall, made headlines after her abrupt departure from the pageant in Hyderabad, India, was initially blamed on ‘personal reasons’
‘I’m shocked that Miss World have released videos of me at the hotel without my permission, they give an entirely false impression,’ she told The Sun.
‘The reality was that I was miserable and could not stay to support the Miss World organisation.
‘I felt exploited at having to talk to these dignitaries at dinners and one of the contest’s officials clapped in my face after telling me and the other girls we were boring.’
She had initially blamed her abrupt departure on ‘personal reasons’ and Miss World chairman and CEO, Julia Morley said bosses treated her with ‘compassion’ and arranged her return to England.
While Ms Magee said her mother has had a recent health problem, she made the excuse to get home.
She claimed contestants were ordered to doll up in heavy make-up and evening gowns from morning to night – even at breakfast – and were paraded at events purely to charm deep-pocketed backers.
And said the experience made her feel ‘like a prostitute’ who was being ‘farmed out for entertainment’.
Adding that when she made attempts to speak about her humanitarian campaigns she was met with blank stares and awkward small talk.

She claimed one man even labelled her as ‘boring’ following the event.
Unable to cope with the chaos, Ms Magee rang her mother in tears, saying she and other contestants were being exploited, before finally informing organisers on May 16, that she was walking away.
She immediately flew back to the UK, leaving her crown and the controversial competition behind.
It made her the first Miss England in the competition’s 74-year history to resign.

Ms Russell was instrumental in how the band was managed while working at Creation Records, which helped shoot Oasis into stardom around 30 years ago.
Ms Magee, who made history last year as Miss England’s first plus-size winner, had been proudly campaigning for better CPR education through her ‘Go Far With CPR’ initiative, which has received backing from the Prince of Wales.
She had hoped the Miss World platform would amplify her advocacy.

But instead, she said she found an event frozen in time that ‘hasn’t changed from the 1960s and 70s’ and that has little regard for modern values.
She said she felt pressure to conform and that it was made clear if she didn’t, she was not going to win the pageant.
Her spot at the upcoming final – set to be broadcast in over 180 countries – will now be filled by Miss England runner-up Charlotte Grant, 25, the current Miss Liverpool.
