A BRAND new sports channel dedicated to one of Europe’s biggest football leagues has launched in the UK.
The channel is available on millions of Samsung TVs for free, as well as Samsung smartphones.

The league in question is Germany’s top flight Bundesliga.
Just a few months ago the BBC started broadcasting games on Friday nights.
Now the Bundesliga has a dedicated channel of its own too to watch in the UK and Ireland.
Harry Kane became the most expensive signing in Bundesliga history back in 2023, transferring to Bayern Munich for a whooping £104million.
The striker and England captain believes “interest in the Bundesliga in England is growing”.
“The league is getting better and better, also when you look at how the teams are doing in Europe,” he said last year.
“There are a lot of good teams in there. The top teams try to play in an active way with possession. It’s impressive.”
Viewers can catch all Friday night Bundesliga fixtures live on the new channel.
It will also broadcast one live Bundesliga 2 match in each kick-off slot throughout the weekend.
Between live matches, there will be highlights, classic matches, documentaries, press conferences, behind-the-scenes features and extensive archive material too.
“With a Bundesliga channel on Samsung TV Plus, we’re taking another step in how the Bundesliga can be experienced in the UK: free, live and closer than ever before,” said Peer Naubert, CEO of Bundesliga International.
“This launch shows that the Bundesliga doesn’t just talk about innovation – we deliver it.”
The channel is available now by tapping 4634 into your remote.
Get more quality TV for free

If you’re tired of paying out on several streaming services like Netflix and Disney+ then there are a growing number of free alternatives around.
While many of these alternatives have been filled with obscure content, more big names like Sky have got on board in recent years offering some quality stuff, which is largely archive but still entertaining.
As well as UKTV, Sony and 5 are among the other players getting involved.
If you haven’t already, give Pluto TV a go, it’s available on pretty much all devices.
On there you’ll find channels from MTV, with Catfish and Geordie Shore.
Some of the classics are real gems too – I found myself watching long-forgotten episodes of Sabrina the Teenage Witch the other day.
