MILLIE Court begged Love Island bosses for one condition when she agreed to join All Stars – that they wouldn’t put her ex Liam Reardon in.
Fans have been convinced Millie’s villa boyfriend would be joining later for a reunion storyline following their split this summer.
But execs – who previously provided an explosive reunion for exes Callum Jones and Molly Smith – refused to agree to Millie’s request.
They did, however, reassure her that they were NOT in talks with Liam.
The Sun understands that is still the case and Liam is not currently in the mix to appear in this series – however producers seem to have still not ruled it out.
A source said: “Molly and Callum being flung into the villa for series one after their break-up was a huge twist and was at the heart of the storyline for the entire run.
“Millie knew that her recent break-up with Liam would be enticing for bosses but wanted to try and have her own journey.
“ITV did not want to make it a condition of her signing though, but were quick to reassure her Liam wasn’t currently part of their plans.
“Things change though, and producers are constantly responding to the flow of relationships so fans shouldn’t rule it out.”
Millie and Liam won the 2021 series and dated on and off for four years, before their break up last September.
The influencer and jewelry business owner opened up about what she would do if she came face to face with Liam before entering the villa.
When asked what would happen if her ex were to make a return, Millie told The Sun: “I can’t speak for future Millie, I don’t know how I would react, I really don’t know.”
She also revealed that she hasn’t been short of attention since the split, with several of her potential All Stars castmates sliding into her DMs before the show.
“Do you know what? There has been a few people I’ve seen [in my DMs], but I haven’t responded… I want it to be a surprise when I’m in [the villa].
“I think connection is so important, I might think you’re fit but we might not get on.”
Revealing that she shunned boys’ attempts for pre-villa flirting, Millie added: “So, I didn’t think there was any point in responding. I mean, if they’re going in, I’ll see you on it, mate!
“Let’s wait and see, no point in chatting on Instagram before, is there? In person is so much better.”
Love Island: All Stars kicks off on 12 January at 9pm on ITV2
