Old interviews with a young Miley Cyrus have resurfaced, and fans have been left horrified by the disturbing questions she was asked at just 14 years old.
A montage of clips of the singer, now 32, in which she was forced to set the record straight about pregnancy rumors and talk about her sex life when she was just a teen have recently gone viral on Reddit.
‘I am not pregnant. I am 14 years old, and that is very lame because I’m a minor,’ she passionately told the camera during a chat with Inside Edition on the red carpet.
Her mom, Tish Cyrus, stood behind her with a smile on her face as her daughter spoke to the reporter.
‘And yeah. So stupid. The main reason that I’m here tonight [is to] set the record straight,’ the young star continued.
‘I think that people that make stuff up like that do that, [it’s] kind of a cry for help, for attention.’
In another video from the same event, an Extra TV reporter asked the teen: ‘Why do you think these rumors about you being pregnant still exist? [What] do you think they’re still going around?’
Miley responded: ‘I don’t know, I’m ready for them to make up something else so I can escape from it.

In another clip, Miley (seen in 2007) was asked if she believed in ‘no sex before marriage’
‘I think it’s just people kind of wanting attention, but they didn’t get the attention they wanted. It got turned back on me, and it was attention that I did not want at all.
She then sarcastically added: ‘Thanks a lot, guys, good job.’
When asked about her fans’ ‘reactions’ to the pregnancy rumors the pop star said: ‘It was really breaking my heart, so I thought it would really take me down.
‘But the only thing it’s done, it’s put me in a position where everyone sees how supportive my fans are because all my fans have really stood strong and said “No, that’s not true.”
‘I know that, and it’s also giving me the street cred just to stand here and say that would be impossible, because I’m living my life the way I believe is right, and that is to stay pure.’
To this, the Extra reporter asked if Miley believed in ‘no sex before marriage.’
‘No, I don’t at all. So, I’m trying to stay true to that, ’cause you never know,’ she revealed.

‘”You don’t believe in sex before marriage?” Ma’am, this is a 14-year-old girl…’ another wrote.
Someone else said: ‘These adult interviewers are so gross and weird.’
‘I’m both amazed at the poise [with] which this 14-year-old conducts herself, and disgusted at the line of questioning from an adult,’ a comment read.
This wouldn’t be the last time the Flowers singer denied pregnancy rumors.
In January 2019, Miley tweeted that she was not expecting after OK! Australia reported that the star and her now-ex-husband, Liam Hemsworth, were expecting a girl.
‘I am not “egg-xpecting” but it’s “egg-celent” to hear everyone is “so happy for us”…’ Miley tweeted.
‘We’re happy for us too! “Egg-cited” for this next chapter in our lives… Now, can everyone leave me alone and go back to staring at an egg?’
She included a photo of herself walking outside with the most liked Instagram post ever – an egg – placed on her stomach with her signature Bangerz tongue and red lip.
In a recent appearance on the New York Times’ Interview podcast, the Wrecking Ball singer opened up about her feelings towards motherhood.
‘My stepdad asked me the other day: ‘Why are you the only one without a makeup line?’ I was like: “Cause that’s not my passion.” He goes: “That’s the right answer.”
‘And it made so much sense. It’s like: “I don’t have a makeup line because I’m not a makeup artist.”‘
She continued: ‘I feel that way about motherhood.
‘It’s just never been something that I’ve been overly passionate about.
‘It’s a lot of responsibility and devotion and energy, and if you’re not passionate about that, I don’t know how you do sleepless nights and 18 years of what my mom dealt with.’
