Michael McIntyre‘s Big Show has won its first ever National Television Award as the ceremony got underway on Wednesday night.
Hosted by Joel Dommett, the ceremony is being held at the O2 in London and televised live on ITV1 as the winners are officially revealed after months of voting.
Comedian Michael McIntyre scored a huge win for his Big Show, scooping an NTA for Best Quiz Show.
Meanwhile, the final ever series of Vera lost out to the BBC‘s Call The Midwife for Best Returning Drama.
In a further blow to Stacey Solomon, following on from her Bafta snub earlier this year, her factual series Sort Your Life Out missed out on an NTA gong again.
Jeremy Clarkson‘s smash-hit show Clarkson’s Farm came out on top, with Jeremy revealing to the audience how he was on weight-loss jab Mounjaro.

As the ceremony continued, Jessie Wallace and Michelle Ryan appeared on stage to present the Serial Drama Performance.
The pair proudly announced Steve McFadden had been voted the winner for his portrayal of Phil Mitchell and his mental health crisis.
The red carpet arrivals were hosted by Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks for the second year in a row.
At the awards, the best of TV will be honoured by the British public, who have been voting for their favourite shows and talent.
This is a milestone year for the NTAs, which are celebrating their 30th anniversary.
The awards were established back in 1995 to give the public a voice when it came to recognising TV talent – as previously, awards had always been dished out by industry professionals.
Described as a ‘celebration of the nation’s most loved stars and shows’, people have had the opportunity to vote via post, telephone, and online.

Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly are widely expected to win the TV Presenter award for the 24th year in a row.
But last year, on their 23rd consecutive win, the Geordie due admitted that they ‘know one year we’re not going to win it.’
Competition this year is fierce and they are up against Claudia Winkleman, Gary Lineker, Alison Hammond and Stacey Solomon.
The past year has been a monumental one for TV dramas and a standout hit was Netflix’s Adolescence.
IndieWire praised Owen Cooper’s performance as child killer Jamie Miller as ‘enraging, emotional, horrifying, and heartbreaking in equal measure’.
It will face off against other hit shows including Code of Silence, Ludwig, MobLand and Rivals in the Best Drama category.
