Meghan Markle appeared to make a subtle reference to her old lifestyle blog The Tig as she shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse at her Netflix show yesterday.
The Duchess of Sussex, 44, shared a series of snaps taken during the filming of With Love, Meghan season two – including photographs of her children, Prince Archie, six, and Lilibet, four.
The last slide of her Instagram carousel included a ‘playlist’ she had made for filming, including hits like Dancing in the Moonlight by King Harvest and Into the Mystic by Van Morrison.
And the song she listed as track 17, The Frim Fram Sauce by Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald, appeared to be a reference to Meghan’s old lifestyle blog, the Tig, which she ran from 2014 to 2017.
The phrase ‘Frim Fram’ appears to be a reference to the old sixteenth century slang term ‘flymflam’, meaning ‘nonsense’ or ‘deceit’.
Frim Fram Inc was also the company behind Meghan’s popular lifestyle blog, The Tig, which she shut down in April 2017 before marrying Prince Harry and joining the royal family.
Her latest post will likely raise speculation among fans about a potential return of The Tig – parts of which can still be found online – which the Duchess once used to share her views on everything from feminism to her passion for philanthropy.
The Tig marked Meghan’s first venture into the world of lifestyle and seems to have served as inspiration for her latest pursuits, such as her cookery show with Netflix, With Love, Meghan, and her brand, As ever.

After launching her new brand and Netflix show this year, Meghan has started to make references to her old lifestyle blog – again prompting rumours of a return.
In February, as she shared a sweet vision board from ‘memory lane to the memories I’m making today’, she included images back from running ‘The Tig’.
Four Post-it notes titled different sections of the board, with one reading: ‘Tig days’.
On the board were a number of photographs from The Tig, mostly pictures of aesthetically pleasing meals, and an image of Meghan in the process of creating content for her website.
The collage also included a number of quotes in the classic font used on the blog.
They read: ‘Stay close to people who feel like sunshine’, ‘Not to spoil the ending for you, but everything is going to be okay’ and ‘You cannot make everybody happy, you are not a jar of Nutella’.
Meghan also posted a visual recipe for the ‘signature Tig cup’, which appears to be a smoothie including celery, pink grapefruit, ice and limes.
Other similarities marking Meghan’s return to the blogging scene include newsletters sent out to fans with each new As ever launch.

Meghan said she used the playlist to ‘keep the vibe alive’ while filming
In 2017, Rachel Meghan Markle was listed as the president of Frim Fram. Shortly afterwards business manager Meyer and lawyer Genow, took over and were listed as CEO and secretary.
In September 2019, Meyer filed to renew the trademark for The Tig. The palace said at the time that the move was intended to keep others using the trademark for bogus purposes.
According to Delaware business records, on December 30, 2019, Frim Fram Inc was registered as a new corporation in the state.
The following day, according to California business records, Frim Fram Inc California was ‘Merged Out’ and incorporated with the Delaware company.
This is significant because Delaware is known as a haven for firms seeking extreme corporate secrecy.
In 2022, Meghan applied to reactivate ‘The Tig’ trademark name – which raised hope among her fans that she might one day consider bringing her blog back to life.
According to the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the application is currently listed as under examination, with the trademark party listed as Frim Fram Inc.
Meghan launched the blog in 2014 when she was an actress in the legal drama Suits and named the site after her favourite Tignanello wine.

Recalling her first sip, she wrote: ‘It was an ah-ha moment at its finest. For me it became a ‘Tig’ moment – a moment of getting it.’
It was a ‘hub for the discerning palate – those with a hunger for food, travel, fashion, and beauty’ and documented her lifestyle and views.
In an article entitled ‘The birthday suit’, she discussed body confidence with a photo of herself appearing to pose nude.
She often praised her mother Doria Ragland, a yoga therapist who was the only member of her family at her wedding, and father Thomas Markle, from whom she remains estranged.
An avid foodie, she also shared recipes and interviews with friends including tennis star Serena Williams and actress Priyanka Chopra.
However, according to bestselling author Tom Bowers, the content on The Tig did not always accurately reflect Meghan’s personal life or, at times, even her values.
In his book, Revenge: Meghan, Harry And The War Between The Windsors, he writes: ‘As a purely commercial venture she understood her market and how to compartmentalise between her real life and the fantasy life she offered her increasing number of followers.
‘Conjuring fantasies was her unique selling point.’

According to Mr Bower, it took Meghan a year to ‘successfully’ become an influencer with The Tig.
As part of her strategy to capitalise on her celebrity status, the former actress closely studied Hollywood’s elite to ‘absorb and copy’ their success.
And it seems that she may have taken a similar approach with her Netflix series, since viewers drew several comparisons between the show and former Baywatch star Pamela Anderson’s series, Pamela’s Cooking With Love.
As Meghan shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse of season two on Tuesday, she wrote: ‘Part of how we kept the vibe alive? Music.
‘Between set ups I would play a song from my phone, and today I wanted to share some of the favorites I kept on rotation!
‘Add them to your playlist, press shuffle, and enjoy! Happy Labor Day weekend! Work hard, play hard.’
Just days after her launch was overshadowed by Taylor Swift‘s engagement news, Meghan took to Instagram to give fans a sneak peek into filming.
In one picture, Lilibet, four, adorably sat in the director’s chair on set, as she wore a pink jumper and navy blue polka-dot pants, her red hair on display.
She was turned towards the entranceway of the room, as her ‘uncle’ and Meghan’s longtime makeup artist, Daniel Martin, was cheekily opening the door.
Another photo showed Lilibet with her brother, Archie, six, watching the various camera operations that were rolling as they filmed the show.
It even looked like the two tots had on headphones to listen in on what was happening.

Meghan Markle put on a brave face as she shared some sweet behind-the-scenes photos from filming the second season of her ‘intolerable’ Netflix show – putting her daughter Lilibet, four, front and center

A third picture featured Archie in the shot as he held a clapperboard, which is used to mark scenes.
Meghan put a heart emoji to cover up his face, but he wore a red t-shirt as he held the prop.
Other pictures in the carousel included Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, posing with her guest, Chef Clare Smyth, who made the food for their 2018 wedding.
The last slide included a playlist that she had made for filming, which included hits like Dancing in the Moonlight by King Harvest and Into the Mystic by Van Morrison.
‘Filming season two of “With Love, Meghan” was more fun than you can imagine,’ Meghan wrote in the caption of the Labor Day Instagram post.
‘Part of how we kept the vibe alive? Music. Between set ups I would play a song from my phone, and today I wanted to share some of the favorites I kept on rotation!’ she revealed.
‘Add them to your playlist, press shuffle, and enjoy! Happy Labor Day weekend! Work hard, play hard.’
The Duchess’s cheery Instagram post comes as the dismal reviews have rolled in for the second season of With Love, Meghan.
The Times branded it as ‘the sweet spot where irrelevant meets intolerable,’ while The Guardian‘s review described it as ‘so boring’ and ‘so contrived.’
On Rotten Tomatoes, the second season gets a 1.8 out of five stars – while the first season was rated slightly higher at 2.1.

Meghan’s famous guests this season included Chrissy Teigen and IT Cosmetics founder Jamie Kern Lima

During the show, she and Teigen bonded over their time as ‘briefcase girls’ on Deal or No Deal
The Daily Mail’s very own Maureen Callahan wrote that The Duchess is ‘incapable of making a joke at her own expense.’
‘The only thing authentic about her is her inauthenticity, which at this point seems pathological,’ Callahan wrote.
Of Meghan’s famous guests this season included Chrissy Teigen and IT Cosmetics founder Jamie Kern Lima.
In 2021, Chrissy faced severe backlash after abusive tweets by the star – dating back to 2011 – resurfaced online.
In one, she told then-16-year-old Courtney Stodden – who identifies as they/them – to kill themselves – for which she has since apologised.
During the show, she and Teigen bonded over their time as ‘briefcase girls’ on Deal or No Deal.
They exchanged together, as Meghan said: ‘I remember us all having to stand in line to get our lashes put in.’
Chrissy then jumped in to add how all the models had to deposit their lashes ‘in a Ziploc bag’ after the shoot was over.
During the show, the Duchess also shares intimate details of her family life – from her early dates with Prince Harry and when she fell in love, to their children Archie and Lilibet’s favourite foods and colors.
