With the Strictly Come Dancing final confirmed to be Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman‘s last series as hosts, fans are celebrating their farewell.
As ever, the duo have delivered a masterclass in glamour, stepping out in a succession of glittering looks throughout the series. But beyond the sequins and sparkle, it was a far more delicate detail that caught my attention.
Both Tess and Claudia have been wearing personalised initial necklaces by Los Angeles jewellery brand, Maya Brenner.
The dainty designs immediately appealed to my inner magpie and instantly brought to mind the Duchess of Sussex, who wore the same necklace during her With Love, Meghan Netflix series.
Unsurprisingly, all three women chose to customise their necklaces with their families’ initials – a thoughtful touch that makes these pieces ideal gifts for yourself or a loved one this Christmas.
This wasn’t the first time Meghan had worn jewellery from the brand. Back in 2016, she was spotted wearing a similar personalised necklace featuring H and M charms, which she debuted when her relationship with Prince Harry became public.
The subtle yet meaningful piece sparked huge demand for the brand and even went on to be referenced in Harry’s biography Finding Freedom, cementing its status as an iconic jewellery moment.
Meghan’s new version features A and L for her children, Archie and Lilibet, along with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s peridot and sapphire birthstones.

Available in yellow gold, rose gold or white gold, the necklaces can be personalised with letters, charms and birthstones, making each piece unique
Tess’ three-letter necklace includes P and A for daughters Phoebe and Amber, plus a heart charm, while Claudia’s four-letter design features K, J, B and T, representing her husband Kris, son Jake, and nicknames for son Arthur and daughter Matilda.
The original Asymmetrical Letter Necklace has been a brand favourite since its launch in 2008.
Set on a delicate cable chain and available in yellow gold, rose gold or white gold, the necklaces can be personalised with a wide selection of letters, charms and birthstones, making each piece truly unique.
One thing is certain: these necklaces are rich in sentiment, making them the perfect way to mark meaningful relationships or celebrate family.
Maya Brenner’s fan base continues to grow, with Florence Pugh and Cynthia Erivo among the latest names to join its impressive roster of devotees this year.
Customers can select letters, charms and birthstones to build a bespoke necklace, with a live preview available as you design. But note, as each piece is made to order, all sales are final.
And if you wish to add another letter in the future, the brand’s Add-A-Letter Boutique makes updating your necklace refreshingly easy.
Meghan has also been spotted wearing the brand’s diamond cascade earrings and the Clarity Retreat necklace, created in collaboration with her close friend and Suits co-star Abigail Spencer – both of which are still available to shop.
