MEGAN MCKENNA has shown off a painful and “blistering” injury after a kitchen mishap while cooking yesterday.
The mum-of-one, 33, had earlier revealed she was having a surf and turf night by cooking prawns and steak for her, husband Oliver Burke and their son Landon.
However, she took to her Instagram stories to reveal she’d had an accident after burning herself while rustling up the meal.
Sharing a picture of her bright pink burn on her left hand, the Celebrity Masterchef star ran it under some water to help alleviate the pain.
She wrote over it: “Scolded my hand while making the steaks.”
Megan later shared an update with her followers as she showed off the painful looking blisters that had developed on her hand.

“Hand update. Ffs feel the blisters brewing,” she exasperated on her stories.
The accident comes after she was mum shamed by cruel trolls yet again after she made lunch for her and son Landon.
She often shared reels of herself cooking and preparing delicious meals for her family.
For one of her meals, Megan kept things simple as she and Landon had toast with different toppings.
But things didn’t start well as Megan realised the melon she was giving Landon had gone off.
She exclaimed: “Oh look, that is so off. I was giving you off melon this morning. Oh my god. “
After that ordeal, Megan went on to make them toast, hers with Parma ham and parmesan and Landon’s with peanut butter.
While most of us would use a small butter knife, Megan used a large chef knife to do it and then placed it down on the counter in front of Landon.
The simple move left many viewers concerned in the comments.
The clip went viral on her TikTok account @meganmckenna with over 432k views and 17k likes as people flocked to the comments section.
One person wrote: “Why do you always use a psycho knife!”
Another commented: “Putting the knife down on the counter in front of him is red hot ngl.”
“Landon always gets suspicious when you hold that knife,” penned a third.
A fourth said: “He hates to see that knife.”
Despite the negativity many took to the comments to defend Megan.
“The camera makes it look like it’s really close to Landon, she’s addressed these comments a few times, he can’t reach it,” claimed a fifth.
Someone else added: “He’s nowhere near it, calm down.”
Megan and her footballer husband Oliver tied the knot in June last year in a beautiful ceremony surrounded by family and friends.
They welcomed Landon in October as they revealed the special news on Instagram.
The family-of-three spend their time between Germany and the UK, as Oliver plays for team, German Bundesliga club 1. FC Union Berlin.
The trio are often seen moving between their two homes in the two countries, with Megan sharing videos of herself cooking in both kitchens throughout the year.
