Meg Mathews proved she is still Noel Gallagher‘s top fan as she confirmed she will attend Oasis’ reunion tour and posted more loved-up snaps with her ex-husband.
The columnist, 59, famously wed the rocker, 58, in June 1997 in Las Vegas, but they were together for just four years before they went their separate ways and divorced.
Meg was forced to deny she had rekindled things with Noel – who she shares her daughter Anaïs, 25, with – this week when she flooded her Instagram with loved-up snaps of them ahead of Oasis’ reunion tour.
But Meg hasn’t let the rumours get in the way of her countdown as she continued to share more PDA-filled snaps with Noel in the days before Oasis’ first show at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on Friday night.
Though they are just friends, Meg is steadfastly supporting her ex Noel and his brother Liam, 52, upon their long-awaited return to stage and will be attending their first London show on July 25.
Commenting on one of her most recent throwback posts, a fan asked her if she would be at the first London date, to which she simply responded: ‘Yes.’

Oasis will also be playing at Wembley Stadium on July 26 and July 30, before returning on August 2 and 3, and again on September 27 and 28.
While Meg will be proudly watching in London, her daughter Anais is expected to attend Oasis’ first Cardiff show, having been spending time in Wales in recent days.
Meg has been sharing sweet snaps from her and Noel’s relationship every day in the week leading up to Oasis’ hotly-anticipated reunion kicking off in Cardiff on Friday.
On Thursday, she marked one day until Oasis’ epic comeback show by sharing a slideshow featuring shots of her and Noel from the 90s and early 00s.
In a caption, she gushed: ‘DAY 2 COUNT DOWN …. What song are they going to kick off with ? Let me know your thoughts below.’
The band’s hit Acquiesce played over the slideshow, potentially in a hint that Meg knows the setlist, as MailOnline revealed Oasis will be opening the show with that very song.
After opening with the track from their first 1995 album, Oasis will follow with Morning Glory the titular song of the second studio album with Supersonic playing sixth.
They will also play Half the World Away, Slide Away, Live Forever before finishing with their three most popular songs – Don’t Look Back in Anger, Wonderwall and Champagne Supernova.

The day before, Meg proved herself to be Oasis’ number one fan as she questioned who else was getting excited for the long-awaited reunion tour – more than a decade after the band’s 2009 split.
While Live Forever played, she gushed: ‘DAY 3 Count Down remembering the nights went into days and days went into night … 90s Brit pop 28 years ago who is getting mad for it … or as I would say excited.’
Proving herself to be just as excited as every other Oasis fan, Meg shared more sweet shots of herself and Noel over the years as she marked three ‘sleeps’ until the first gig on Tuesday.
‘Day 4 count Down 28 years since the 90s Oasis .. 3 sleeps till Friday 8.15pm they will take the stage,’ she penned as D’You Know What I Mean? played.
‘So, Oasis has been commanding peak streaming attention—and holding their position as one of the top‑streamed legacy rock bands—consistently for the past 10 months, dating back to August 2024.’
After starting her week-long countdown until the gig, Meg was forced to deny that she and Noel were back together after posting endless loved-up pictures of them.
Fans questioned whether the duo had rekindled their romance 24 years after their divorce, as her nostalgic photos albums included several of the pair locking lips.
Amid the many comments on the numerous snaps, one fan wrote: ‘So glad to see you guys are back together. Make a wonderful couple. Love like that never dies.

Meg sent fans wild as she has been giving fans an insight into her and Noel’s relationship with her week-long countdown
The message caused Meg to respond: ‘We are not back together.’
She was forced once again to reiterate her firm ‘no’ when others asked if they were ‘dating again’ or ‘back together’.
Amid the speculation, Meg confirmed that she is still friends with Noel as she proved they remain on good terms with her sweet string of posts.
Meg met Noel in 1994 in London through her roommate MTV presenter Rebecca de Ruvo.
Noel was dating Rebecca at the time, however, he eventually left her for Meg.
They welcomed their daughter Anais together during their relationship but went on to separate in 2000, before confirming their divorce the following year.
Noel met his second wife Sara in Ibiza in 2000. They went on to marry in June 2011 before divorcing in 2023 following 11 years of marriage.
After his divorce from Meg was finalised, the Don’t Look Back In Anger singer denied actually being unfaithful to her with Sara, saying he had only admitted to cheating in order to speed up the divorce process.

Last week, Meg revealed she was doing an Oasis countdown after receiving hundreds of messages from fans urging her to share old photos.
In a post on Friday, alongside a throwback snap of her and Noel snogging, she penned: ‘Throwback to the 90s when gigs were everything and my hair was questionable after 100’sof DM’s asking for old photos I I decided to do a count down from my favourite oasis Gigs 6 to go.’
While on Thursday, Noel’s supportive ex reminisced on the singer preparing for his first ever gig with the band.
Alongside a snap of the pair on holiday, she penned: ‘Noel here getting ready for the first Gig… A week tomorrow Oasis are back.
‘In 1996 During their legendary Knebworth performances August 10–11, they launched huge inflatable footballs into the audience as part of their upbeat intro before launching into songs like Columbia, Acquiesce, and Supersonic.’
After 15 years, Noel and Liam will finally reunite for 41 shows across Europe as well as other world tour dates and more than 900,000 fans have eagerly snapped up tickets.

On Monday, fans became convinced that the duo were in Wales to sound check at the stadium after people heard music coming from inside.
The brothers have enlisted new bandmates for the tour, with drummer Joey Waronker and guitarists Andy Bell, Gem Archer and Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs on board.
Oasis also revealed they are releasing more tickets ahead of their eagerly anticipated reunion tour this summer.
The iconic Britpop band have reunited for a series of stadium shows across the United Kingdom, Ireland, Japan, South Korea and North, Central and South America, commencing at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on July 4.
And a statement posted to the band’s official website on Wednesday read: ‘As the shows are getting closer, Oasis promoters may be able to release a very limited number of additional tickets for sale once final sight lines are checked and the production is fine tuned.
‘These final production releases will happen over the coming days.’
Following their initial release, thousands of fans waited for hours in virtual queues to get their hands on highly-coveted tickets for the band’s reunion shows, only to find that prices had jumped in a ‘dynamic pricing’ scheme.
The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has since called for Ticketmaster to change how it labels tickets and informs customers.

After 15 years, Noel and Liam will finally reunite for 41 shows across Europe as well as other world tour dates and more than 900,000 fans have eagerly snapped up tickets
The CMA launched an investigation into Ticketmaster in September to examine if it had engaged in ‘unfair commercial practices’, whether fans were given ‘clear and timely’ information to explain tickets could be subject to ‘dynamic pricing’, and if people were put under pressure to buy tickets within a short period of time.
The watchdog said it was concerned that Ticketmaster, which sold more than 900,000 tickets for the Oasis gigs, may have breached consumer protection law.
Downing Street has said that ‘everyone deserves a fair shot at getting tickets’ for music and sport events.
Ticketmaster UK said in a statement that it tries to provide a ‘simple, transparent and consumer-friendly’ experience.
Certain tickets for shows were labelled as ‘platinum’ and sold for nearly 2.5 times more than the standard price.
However, the company did not explain these tickets do not come with any additional benefits and are located in the same area of the stadium.
The CMA said this risked consumers being mislead into thinking the platinum tickets were better.
Another concern listed by the watchdog was that two categories of standing tickets were listed at different prices, with the cheaper tickets sold first before the more expensive ones were released.

Cardiff’s Principality Stadium has already been lit up with a drone show ahead of the first night of the long-awaited tour kicking off
This caused fans to wait in long queues without realising they would have to pay a higher price than expected, the CMA added.
Since the opening of the investigation, Ticketmaster has made changes to some aspects of its ticket sales process, but the CMA does not currently consider these changes are sufficient to address its concerns.
Hayley Fletcher, Interim Senior Director of Consumer Protection at the CMA, said: ‘Fans reported problems when buying Oasis tickets from Ticketmaster and we decided those concerns warranted investigation.
‘We’re concerned that Oasis fans didn’t get the information they needed or may have been misled into buying tickets they thought were better than they were.
‘All ticketing websites should check they are complying with the law and treating their customers fairly. When businesses get it right, consumers benefit – and that’s the best outcome for everyone.’
