McDonald’s to launch menu shake-up in DAYS with 2 new items and four favourites making return – including beloved burger

MCDONALD’S is just days away from launching a major menu shake-up – with fan-favourites returning and a summery new drink making its debut.

From May 7, customers will be able to tuck into the long-awaited Biscoff McFlurry and Biscoff Frappe – plus get their hands on the McSpicy x Frank’s RedHot burger and the meaty Steakhouse Stack once again.

Also returning is the much-loved Steakhouse Stack, which comes with two beef patties and a rich black peppercorn sauce

The shake-up comes as the fast food giant continues to revamp its menu to keep things fresh for fans – and this one’s set to cause a stir.

Leading the pack is the Frozen Cherry Lemonade, described as a “tangy frozen lemonade with a deliciously sweet cherry flavoured swirl” – perfect for the warmer months and priced at £2.99.

Craving something cooler? The Biscoff McFlurry is back, with Biscoff biscuit crumb swirled onto soft serve for an extra crunch.

A regular tub will cost £2.29, while a smaller one comes in at £1.69.

And the Biscoff Frappe – a vanilla flavour base blended with ice and biscuit crumb, topped with caramel cream and more biscuit bits – returns for £3.09.

McDonald’s fans have been crying out for the sweet treat’s return, with one saying: “Can you bring back the Biscoff McFlurry and make it permanent.”

Another added: “Petition for McDonald’s to bring back the biscoff McFlurry.”

But it’s not just sweet treats making a comeback.

As previously revealed by The Sun, the McSpicy x Frank’s RedHot burger is making a fiery return.

It features chicken breast in a hot and crispy coating, lettuce, jalapenos, onions, cheese and Frank’s RedHot Mayo in a toasted sesame seed bun for £5.99 – or £7.99 as a meal.

And for those who can’t get enough of the sauce, Frank’s RedHot Mayo will also be available separately as a dip.

Also staging a comeback is the hearty Steakhouse Stack – two beef patties, cheddar cheese, crispy and red onions, fresh lettuce and black peppercorn sauce in a glazed sesame bun – again priced at £5.99.

Some newer menu hits are sticking around, too.

The Katsu Chicken One wrap is staying put and will cost just £1.99 on Wednesdays as part of the chain’s wrap deal.

Normally, it’s £3.49, or £5.29 with a medium meal.

And cheese-lovers will be pleased to know the Cheesy Garlic Bread

Dippers are also staying on.

Four pieces will set you back £2.49, served with a rich tomato dip.

McDonald’s regularly updates its menu to spice things up – and last month saw the introduction of Minecraft meals, new apple-flavoured McFlurries, and cheesy garlic dippers.

At the same time, it waved goodbye to Mozzarella Dippers and the peppermint Shamrock Shake.

So if you’ve been missing your Biscoff fix – or fancy a summery sip of cherry lemonade – you’ve only got a few more days to wait.

How to save at McDonald’s

You could end up being charged more for a McDonald’s meal based solely on the McDonald’s restaurant you choose.

Research by The Sun found a Big Mac meal can be up to 30% cheaper at restaurants just two miles apart from each other.

You can pick up a Big Mac and fries for just £2.99 at any time by filling in a feedback survey found on McDonald’s receipts.

The receipt should come with a 12-digit code which you can enter into the Food for Thought website alongside your submitted survey.

You’ll then receive a five-digit code which is your voucher for the £2.99 offer.

There are some deals and offers you can only get if you have the My McDonald’s app, so it’s worth signing up to get money off your meals.

The MyMcDonald’s app can be downloaded on iPhone and Android phones and is quick to set up.

You can also bag freebies and discounts on your birthday if you’re a My McDonald’s app user.

The chain has recently sent out reminders to app users to fill out their birthday details – otherwise they could miss out on birthday treats.
