McDonald’s customers can snap up a Cheeseburger for just 99p – down from its usual price of £1.39 – but only on Monday, 28th April, and exclusively through the McDonald’s app.

There are more app-exclusive offers running throughout the week.

Customers who spent £10 on breakfast items can get a Sausage & Egg McMuffin® for free – normally priced at £3.39.

Later in the day, customers who spend £15 on main menu items, will be treated to a FREE Mayo Chicken, usually costing £1.49.

All offers are available via the McDonald’s app only.

The way it works is that every Monday customers receive new deals in the “Rewards and Offers” section of the McDonald’s app.

Each deal can be redeemed once per customer during the promotional period.

Offers can be used for both McDelivery® orders and in-store purchases via the app.

Customers also earn MyMcDonald’s Rewards points with every order – with every penny spent counting as one point.

Through the app, customers are even able to donate points to charities like BBC Children in Need, FareShare and Ronald McDonald House Charities, helping fight youth inequality and food waste in the UK.

Parents are fuming after McDonald’s confirms new Happy Meal toy ‘limits access’ to certain kids

McDonald’s has been serving Brits since 1974 – and it’s bigger than ever.

Today, it runs more than 1,560 restaurants across the UK and Ireland, welcoming over three million customers every day.

The fast-food giant claims that it’s one of the UK’s biggest private employers, with more than 159,000 staff and partnerships with over 29,000 British and Irish farmers.

It comes as McDonald’s is set to axe five items from its menu in less than ten days in its latest shake-up.

Fans will need to say goodbye to a popular meal, two burgers, dessert and McFlurry as part of the change.

Among the items being axed on May 6 is the Minecraft Meal, which fans described as the first McDonald’s “adult Happy Meal”.

McDonald’s is set to launch two new items, while four favourites make a return to menus.

From May 7 customers will be able to get their hands on the new Frank’s Red Hot Mayo dip and Frozen Cherry Lemonade.
