THE McDonald’s customer who threw boiling hot coffee at a manager has been named by cops as they try to track her down.
The fiery dispute appeared to erupt over a refund.
Video footage was posted on social media by the Buena Vista Police Department and seems to show a woman arguing with a manager inside the fast food restaurant in Saginaw, Michigan on November 4.
The angry altercation came to an end with the suspect appearing to throw coffee at the manager as she walked away.
Cops have now identified the suspect as Casharra Brown.
The victim has asked not to be identified.
Brown ordered food on the McDonald’s app but did not provide her name or payment information when she placed her order.
She was unhappy with the two sandwiches she had ordered and started talking to the manager.
The fast-food employee offered Brown a coffee in a bid to calm her down, but Brown was not satisfied, authorities say.
The argument then escalated and became heated.
As the manager turned her back to walk away, the woman ripped the lid off her coffee cup and hurled the scalding drink at her.
Brown then hurled obscenities at the manager and left the premises.
The McDonald’s manager can be heard screaming in pain, according to the footage.
The employee suffered minor injuries but was not treated in a hospital, police said.
Buena Vista Police said a warrant had been issued for Brown’s arrest and attempts are being made to apprehend her.
Police told Fox News: “We know where she lives.”
Police confirmed the suspect lives just a few blocks away from the McDonald’s on Dixie Highway.
The now-viral video starts with the furious customer repeatedly accusing the manager of lying about her refund.
“You’re a liar! Why are you lying?” the woman yells, as stunned onlookers watch.
The manager, remaining calm despite the abuse, tries to explain that the refund is being processed.
“You’ve got your coffee,” the manager says patiently. “That’s all you were charged for. Your refund will take up to 48 hours.”
‘WE KNOW WHERE SHE LIVES’
But her efforts only made things worse.
The customer snaps back, claiming she’s been at the McDonald’s for over an hour and demanding an apology.
As the argument heats up, the manager turns to walk away – attempting to de-escalate the situation.
That’s when the woman suddenly unlids her her drink and flings it across the counter, dousing the manager in scalding coffee.
The worker can be heard screaming in agony as the liquid hits her face and uniform.
Meanwhile, the attacker storms out of the restaurant as stunned customers look on in disbelief.
Detectives said the footage was shared widely online, helping police identify the woman within hours.
The department has since requested felony charges, calling the attack “completely unacceptable.”
Officers say they hope to arrest the woman within days, warning that such violent outbursts over minor disputes will not be tolerated.
“Throwing hot coffee at someone isn’t just rude – it’s criminal,” said one officer familiar with the case.
