THE MASKED Singer’s fans claim they have worked out that Sloth is 100% a TV chef – after they spotted “clues”.
The wacky ITV guessing game returned at the beginning of the year, and fans think they have already guessed who is behind the adorable costume.
The Masked Singer is back on the box and we were introduced to the adorable Sloth last week.
The fuzzy character first burst onto the stage with the song Break My Stride from Matthew Wilder.
They followed that up this weekend with an energetic Green Green Grass by George Ezra.
But fans are convinced they have worked out he’s a famous TV chef and can’t understand why no-one else can see it.
Taking to social media one wrote: “Has to be Jamie Oliver 100%.”
Another said: “Sounds exactly like him, don’t get why more people don’t say this.”
A third added: “You can hear his lisp in a few of the songs he’s sung!”
While a fourth said: “That’s who I’ve said all along too.”
A fifth declared: “Got to be Jamie Oliver, the letter clue last night signed GC. James’ friend and mentor Gennaro Contaldo.”
“Definitely Jamie Oliver,” said another.
However, some fans are not convinced and took to Reddit to discuss, one fan posted a number of reasons why Sloth had to be Sam Thompson, which included his energetic performance in the opening episode.
The star is known for his excitable energy, with Masked Singer judge Maya Jama agreeing it was him, saying he was always “constantly moving” when they worked together,
The Reddit user also believed the clue about “jungle juice” is a nod to him winning I’m A Celebrity in 2023.
The fact that the character is a sloth, is also a clue that this person spent time in the jungle, which also points to the former Made In Chelsea star.
The Reddit user also thought that Sloth’s “Good morning workout warriors” clue is about Sam’s Love Island Morning After podcast, and also his gym body transformation.
Meanwhile, fans think they’ve figured out the identity of can of worms.
After matching up eight clues, they reckon it’s none other than JLS star Marvin Humes.
