Jake Sullivan has been, along with Anthony Blinken, one of the top players in the Democratic foreign policy world for a decade and a half.
He is so good at his job that you could call him a key architect of the great policies that brought us the color revolutions, the Libyan collapse, the “Arab Spring,” the Syrian Civil War, the Afghanistan withdrawal, the Ukraine War, and then the October 7th attacks and the war in Gaza.
Sullivan famously penned an article for Foreign Affairs bragging that the Middle East is at peace under Biden and that the US could finally turn its attention elsewhere.
Sullivan was so confident in that line that he also wrote it in a Foreign Affairs article: “The Middle East… region is quieter than it has been for decades.” That went to print on Oct. 2, Hamas terror attacks happened on Oct. 7, & huge edits had to be made in the online version. pic.twitter.com/bQq51IQwF5

He is, obviously, a foreign policy genius, and a man to whom everybody should listen. So much so that the transnational elite are stil trying to shove his wisdom down our throats.

Sullivan’s judgment on all matters of state is so good that when he speaks, the world should listen. His eye for detail is keen, and nothing gets past him.

So when he, no doubt sadly, criticizes Trump’s approach to foreign policy, we should all sit up and take notice. While some might scoff and assume he has a partisan slant, his record says otherwise. He is the Leon Panetta of bipartisanship, eager to work across the aisle to forward the interests of the United States.

If only we all listened to Sullivan, the entire world could look more like North Africa and the Middle East. Europeans could look forward to more arms sales and endless war with Russia, because, of course, our goal should be a permanent state of war with Putin, who, after all, is a bad guy. The deaths of a few hundred thousand Ukrainians and Russians are a small price to pay to…well, not hurt Putin at all, but it makes a statement that we don’t like him.
Sullivan is criticizing Trump’s attempts to end the Ukraine War and his willingness to give Israel leeway to finish its war with Hamas because, obviously, the Biden/Sullivan approach was working so well.

This is honestly moot, but it gives an opportunity to highlight the role that Sullivan played in covering up Biden’s mental decline.

Biden, you see, worked hand in glove with Sullivan. And Sullivan’s keen judgment led him to believe that no president was nearly as good at foreign policy as Joe.
Is it true that Jake couldn’t tell that Biden’s brain was toast? I’m almost willing to believe so because his ability to read the room is so manifestly awful that he may indeed not be able to tell the difference between a sentient human being and a toad.

Sullivan and Anthony Blinken have been two of the key authors of our current situation, and if you think multiple wars raging in strategically important regions like Eastern Europe and the Middle East, a growing Chinese threat to regional stability in the South Pacific, and growing Chinese influence in regions like Africa and Latin America are good things then no doubt you, too, are probably think Trump is doing it all wrong.
If so, you would fit right in with the attendees of POLITICO’s security seminar along with the rest of the transnational elite.
If you want to set the world to rights, finally end the conflicts in the Middle East and Europe, and rein in China, perhaps you might quit listening to these dolts.
