HARRY AMASS could make a shock return to Manchester United – after suffering a serious injury just one week into his loan spell with Norwich.
The left-back, 18, was given the green light to leave Old Trafford ahead of the transfer window slamming shut on Monday.

But Amass’ Carrow Road stint may be cut short after Norwich boss Philippe Clement confirmed the youngster suffered a serious looking injury in training.
The setback resulted in the wonderkid missing the Canaries’ narrow Championship loss to high-flying Middlesbrough today.
Clement revealed that talks will be held with United to decide what happens next for Amass.
The Red Devils could decide for the teenager to make a quickfire return to undergo treatment with their medical team.
Amass made his Norwich debut when he came off the bench during the victory over table-topping Coventry on Monday.
And United were hoping that he would make a serious impact after being recalled from a loan spell at Sheffield Wednesday to facilitate the transfer.
But there are serious fears that he will not make another appearance in a Norwich shirt.
United chief Michael Carrick chose to send Amass to Carrow Road after deciding he would not be in his plans for the rest of the season.

The former midfielder has overseen a resurgence at Old Trafford – bagging eye-catching wins over Manchester City and Arsenal.
And, with Luke Shaw at the top of the left-back pecking order, Carrick decided that it would be in Amass’ best interests to head out on another loan deal.
The highly-rated starlet has been limited to seven outings since coming through the United ranks.
But he made 21 appearances for Sheffield Wednesday in the first half of the season – notching one goal along the way.
Norwich are not planning to land a direct replacement in the final days of the transfer window.
