Amorim reacts
Following the convincing win over Bournemouth, Ruben Amorim said: “It’s really important because first of all, everyone has to be prepared.
“Then I think we improve in the physicality of the game. We are more competitive.
“That is really important and we suffered a lot last season. We had some issues in the corners defending, but we attacked really well.
“So we have a lot to do, but it’s a good feeling to see the team playing like this.”
“Pre-season helping”
Man of the match, Patrick Dorgu said time on the training pitch has helped the Man Utd players ‘understand’ what Ruben Amorim wants.
Dorgu scored and assisted in the first half and told MUTV: “It feels good, it’s good to help the team out there and to get the win.
“We keep improving and look forward to the season.
“It’s good to see the fans stayed even though the weather was like that.
“I feel like the pre-season is helping everyone understand Ruben’s ideas more.”
