Man Utd star Alejandro Garnacho poses with fan – but everyone’s distracted by his bonkers SLIPPERS

But the snap has gone viral on social media after eagle-eyed fans noticed Garnacho‘s unusual choice of footwear.

Accompanying his hoodie and shorts, the Argentine winger opted for comfy slippers.

And they were incredibly Harry Potter-inspired with the Gryffindor symbol on them.

Fans found it hilarious, with one saying: “Garnacho is not real.”

Another added: “Why on Earth is he wearing Gryffindor slippers out in public hahaha.”

A third wrote: “Can’t believe he’s gone out and forgot to change his slippers though, bless him.”

More commented: “I rate him even more now, those slippers!”

The same pair can be bought online for around £15 to £20.

Garnacho will swap his slippers for boots tomorrow as Man Utd face West Ham at Old Trafford.

And it is not the only wardrobe change in store as the Red Devils will not be wearing their usual home shirt for the clash.

Rather than sponsors Snapdragon being on the front of the jersey, the logo for (Red) will feature instead.

(Red) is a charity that tackles health inequality and provides life-saving programmes in vulnerable communities.

The one-off shirts will be auctioned off after the game to raise money for the good cause.
