Jacob Ramsey appeared to be knocked to the deck by Ruben Dias in the penalty area but it was waved away by Craig Pawson.

VAR reviewed the incident and sent the official to the pitchside monitor.

Pawson then decided to overturn his decision and point to the spot.

The foul was then shown on the big screen at the Etihad and it enraged the home support.

They booed and whistled as they watched the replay and it also incensed Guardiola.

The City boss protested wildly in his technical area, gesturing that Dias had pulled out of the challenge.

Guardiola was booked for his antics as Marcus Rashford stepped up and scored the penalty to level things at 1-1.
