PEP GUARDIOLA has reportedly thrown Manchester City’s name into the hat to sign highly-touted German wonderkid, Said El Mala.
Europe’s biggest clubs are preparing to do battle for the German wonderkid.

At just 19, the youngster is causing quite the storm for FC Köln in the Bundesliga.
Multiple reports suggest the forward is attracting interest from the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund.
And for good reason, in just nine appearances El Mala has registered an impressive four goals and one assist; firing Köln up to eighth position on their return to the German top flight.
El Mala’s breakthrough impressed so much that he was recently rewarded with a call-up to Julian Nagelsmann’s German national side for their recent World Cup qualifiers.
He’s now in the frame for Germany’s World Cup squad.
According to reports, Pep Guardiola is now actively involved in Manchester City’s efforts to lure the exciting youngster to the Etihad Stadium.
Erling Haaland has scored a staggering 14 of Manchester City’s 23 Premier League goals this term BUT outside of the Norwegian there isn’t a single player in the rest of the City squad to register more than just one goal.
And so the addition of a goal scoring threat could be everything that the Citizens may need to ensure they remain in the title picture.
Sky Sports Germany believe Guardiola has instructed his scouts to closely monitor El Mala’s development after being impressed by the left-winger.
