SUPER rich footie ace Erling Haaland has splashed out £400,000 on an ultra-rare Mercedes supercar – adding to his £10million luxury car collection.
The Man City star acquired a limited edition Maybach Virgil Abloh, one of just 150 models made.
The luxury limousine is the final bespoke S-Class variant produced in co-operation with the late Louis Vuitton artistic director who tragically died at age 41 from a rare type of cancer.
The stunning saloon was completed before designer Abloh’s death in 2021 and is now a collector’s item in the super high-end second-hand market.
Car fanatic Haaland managed to bag one of the bespoke cars and was spotted driving it through Alderley Edge, Cheshire.
The supercar features a unique, two-tone exterior colour scheme, with glossy Obsidian Black on the top half of the car, while the lower segment, side flanks and wheel rims feature a sand hue.
Abloh’s logo features on the centre console, rear cushions, head restraints and door sill panel.
The digital interface features a home button with a unique coloured border and a brand logo representing the limited edition.
The left-hand drive car is powered by a massive twin turbo 6.0L V12 biturbo engine with a top speed of 155 mph.
The luxury sedan goes from 0-60mph in 4.5 seconds and is all-wheel drive.
At around £400,000, the Maybach reflects less than a week’s work for Haaland who earns £500,000 a week.
His incredible motor collection includes a £350,000 Aston Martin DBX 707, which is a special edition Formula 1 safety car, a £300,000 Rolls-Royce Cullinan, and a £160,000 Porsche 911 GT3.
