Major supermarket selling real 6ft Christmas trees for just £6 instead of £25

IF you’re late to decorating your home for the festive season, one supermarket has got you covered.

Real Christmas trees are now just £6.25, down from £25 at Morrisons, but you’ve got to be quick.

The 6ft spruces were spotted by a shopper, who excitedly shared the massive saving on Extreme Couponing and Bargains Facebook page, which boasts 2.7 million members.

Sharing a snap of the price tag, the eagle-eyed shopper wrote: “Morrisons real Christmas trees reduced, lots left.”

The trees were originally £25, and were then reduced to £12.50.

Then, in a bid to flog the unclaimed trees, Morrisons slashed the price in half again.

Shoppers go wild for decoration that will transform your Christmas tree for £12

The store location wasn’t disclosed, so it’s worth checking with your local Morrisons to see if it is participating in the deal.

Discounts and deals are sometimes limited to particular branches.

Real Christmas trees typically range from £30 (3ft) to £105 (9ft).

Earlier this month, Lidl was selling 6-7ft Christmas trees for £19.99.

Home Bargains also jumped on the affordable tree bandwagon with trees for just £11.

A few weeks ago, Tesco delighted shoppers by giving away free Christmas trees.

But there was a catch – all of the free trees were a little wonky.

That means the trees may have unevenly spaced branches or be slightly lopsided, but Tesco said each one is still “perfectly imperfect” in its own way.
