A MAJOR supermarket is selling Cadbury Easter eggs for just £1, making it one of the cheapest places to pick up the festive delight.
Asda has slashed the price of favourites such as the Cadbury Mini Eggs and Freddo Easter eggs to just a quid.

The deal is running across its supermarkets and is also available online, with shoppers also able to pick up Nestle eggs for a cut price.
The offer was shared online, with one excited customer commenting: “We need to get to Asda! I neeeeeeed Easter eggs.”
While another described the promotion as a “bargain”.
Asda originally charged £1.74 for the small 96g eggs but slashed the price earlier this week.
It came after Morrisons recently reduced the price of the chocolate delights from £2.50 to £1.25.
Tesco is currently selling the eggs for £2 or £1.50 if you are signed up to its free Clubcard scheme.
Nectar card customers at Sainsbury’s can also score the eggs for £1.50 otherwise they will have to pay around £1.95.
In the run-up to Easter, it is likely that supermarkets will begin ramping up offers on eggs to give customers the chance to save.
But just because one store is the cheapest this week, that may not be the case the following week.
Grocers can run deals and offers at various different times to each other.
So if you are looking for a bargain you should keep an eye on supermarket websites to ensure you are not missing out.
Price comparison sites such as Trolley can also help you find the cheapest place to buy a product.
You simply type in the item you are looking for and it shares how prices vary from store to store.
