Shoppers have spotted the discounted eggs in Morrisons recently, reduced from £2.50 to £1.25.

You can get a Mini Eggs flavour, Freddo, Caramel Nibbles, Milk Chocolate Buttons, White Chocolate Buttons.

They are also available on Morrison’s website, but the deal comes with a warning; to make it fair, customers are only allowed to purchase six of the eggs.

After a picture of the Easter eggs in store was shared on New Foods UK page on Facebook recently, people rushed to share their thoughts.

“Might walk down tomorrow,” one excited individual said.

“Is there a maximum number per purchase,” one queried.

Another, also hoping to get their hands on a few of the eggs, said: “Anyone been able to bulk buy? Online says max 6 each per customer. I need at least 30.”

The Easter eggs have also caught the attention of international residents. “We need to go to England,” one said.

An Aussie said: “Lordy I envy the uk. In New Zealand this egg is about $13. Which is about £6.”

Others didn’t seem so impressed with the price, noting that they were cheaper a few years back.

“Should only be £1.25 to begin with couple of years ago only a £1,” one individual said. “The same ones that were £1 a couple of years ago,” commented one other.
