Summer is still in full swing but it’s never too early to get ahead of your Christmas shopping list – and this year, that’s especially true when it comes to beauty lovers.
That’s because luxury British department stores Harrods and Liberty have already released waitlists for their 2025 beauty advent calendars.
Names like Sephora and Harvey Nichols are also inviting fans to sign up for their Christmas drops early so fans get the best of unmissable deals.
In a few months, you can ditch the ever popular chocolate countdown in favour of glamorous ones containing mascara, beauty blenders, luxe moisturisers and more.
If you’re looking to indulge in a gift for you or a loved one, The Harrods Beauty Advent Calendar 2025 features 32 products, including 14 full-sized items, for £250.
Top brands featured in the luxe purchase include Laura Mercier, Augustinus Bader and Mac – and best of all if you preorder now it’ll be sent out to you by the 20th of August.
Meanwhile, Liberty Beauty has handpicked the best in skincare, beauty and fragrances to bring you products from Ex Nihilo, Lisa Eldridge and Trinny London, all for £275.
Loyal customers will also have the chance to win one of 15 Golden Tickets hidden within this year’s Liberty Beauty Advent Calendar.
And there is more choice available: sign up for a Sephora calendar for an even bigger and more exclusive calendar than in 2024, meanwhile Harvey Nichols has urged beauty fans to sign up for their calendar right away.
We’ve compiled a list of all the major beauty Christmas advent calendars now available for either pre-order or sign up.
Harrods
The Harrods Beauty Advent Calendar is described as ‘the ultimate beauty countdown’ by the luxury London department store.
Priced at £250, shoppers will be delighted to find favourite products from premium brands La Mer and La Prairie, as well as must-haves from cult make-up label MAC.
111Skin’s viral face masks also feature in the calendar along with Laura Mercier’s Black Caviar Extravagant Mascara, loved by celebrities.
Liberty Beauty
Liberty Beauty’s advent calendar is set to be extra special this Christmas as the brand is celebrating 150 years in the business.
The calendar, housed in a box designed to look like the famous London storefront, is priced at £275 and promises beauty essentials from Augustinus Bader, Trinny London and Jones Road.
It also includes a fragrance by Liberty Beauty called Zephirine and described as ‘a lush, woody fragrance muddles notes of stalky-fresh fig leaves, velvety rose petals, decadent incense, soft leather and rich vetiver’.
Sephora
Beauty emporium Sephora’s advent calendar sold out in 2024 and 2023.
While Sephora hasn’t yet released precise details of its 2025 offering, it promises to be ‘bigger, more exclusive, and filled with even more of our fave brands,’ the store has said.
Harvey Nichols
Luxury department store Harvey Nichols hasn’t confirmed exactly what lucky shoppers can expect to find in its 2025 Beauty Advent Calendar but, if last year’s is anything to go by, it’s bound to be packed full with exclusive brands and best-loved products.
Space NK
The Space NK Beauty Advent Calendar for 2025 promises more than £1,150 worth of premium products for £260.
Given that the luxury high street chain specialises in serious skincare, global make-up brands and high-end fragrances from the likes of Diptyque, this year’s calendar won’t be one to miss.
Cult Beauty
Those lucky enough to get their hands on the Cult Beauty Advent Calendar for 2025 will find a treasure trove of products worth more than £1,100.
Among the brands that buyers can expect to find within the calendar are Huda Beauty, Patrick Ta and Hourglass.
And, with a travel size version of the latter’s Unlocked Instant Extensions Mascara hidden behind one of the doors, there’s bound to be tears of joy.
