CHARLI XCX is preparing to launch her acting career in spectacular style — by premiering the first three films in the space of only a few days.
I have learned she will debut the trio of movies in quick succession as film festival season kicks off at the beginning of September.

It’s hoped that the brave move will help cement her as an in-demand actress in Hollywood, with the vastly different flicks showing various sides of the five-time Brit Award winner.
Things will begin at 3.45pm on September 4 with the premiere of Erupcja, which was filmed in Poland last August.
It is about the fractious relationship between two women and debuts at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Two days later, 100 Nights Of Hero, which is a historical fantasy also starring Emma Corrin, Richard E. Grant and Felicity Jones, will have its premiere at the Venice Film Festival.
At 9.30pm the same evening, another movie Charli is in — Sacrifice — will be shown for the first time back in Toronto.
That is an action comedy with Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Evans.
Unfortunately, none of them has yet got official release dates, so it might be a few months before you get to see the Brat singer on screen.
But if that seems a lot to have three films in quick succession, you haven’t seen anything yet.
Charli — who last night dropped a trailer for 100 Nights Of Hero on Instagram and announced it will be in cinemas on December 5 — actually has five other film projects in the can, which are expected to see the light of day in the coming months.
So I’m sure her fans will always have something to watch if they fancy a trip to the cinema.
I just hope her acting has improved, because a decade ago, she admitted it left a lot to be desired.
Speaking about shooting the 2014 video to her Rita Ora collaboration Doing It, she said: “We had to react to two policemen walking into the scene. It was going to take up, like, two seconds of screen time but it took an hour to shoot because I just couldn’t do it.
“Rita was just like, ‘What the f***? All you have to do is look surprised’. But I couldn’t do it, I am so bad at acting. It’s so embarrassing.”
Practice makes perfect, and with all these films on the go, she’s had plenty of it.
Paris aces it in lace

Paris has just secured a contract to be a global ambassador for haircare brand Paul Mitchell.
I bet she is being paid a bomb. But given her recent purchases, that cash will come in handy.
Earlier this summer it was revealed she spent $63million on a mansion previously owned by Mark Wahlberg.
Paris said on Instagram over the weekend that she was hosting her first family barbecue at the sprawling property, which she has named Slivington Manor.
But somehow, I doubt she and her guests were chowing down on basic bangers in a long-life bun.
OASIS £10.2M WONDERHAUL
NOEL and Liam Gallagher were raking it in long before they stepped back on stage with Oasis — banking £69,000 a week last year.
The brothers have been making millions on their sold-out stadium comeback tour this summer.

But documents for Oasis’ firm Big Brother Recordings, which deals with the earnings from their music publishing, reported earnings of £3.6million in the year ending December 31, 2024.
The takings pre-date the tour, which was announced a year ago tomorrow, and take assets in their company up to £10.2million.
The coffers were boosted by the 30th anniversary reissue of the band’s debut album Definitely Maybe last August, which went to No1.
After their reunion was announced, albums Time Flies and (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? re-entered the Top Five, while singles Live Forever reached a new peak of No8, Don’t Look Back In Anger went to No9 and Wonderwall headed in at No11.
Despite the healthy earnings for doing very little, that figure will be dwarfed by their earnings in 2025.
By the end of the year, Oasis – who kicked off the North American leg of their tour with a performance in Toronto on Sunday – will have played 41 concerts to millions and millions of fans.
Not only has their music stayed in the charts, but the lads also been making more than a pretty penny from merchandise, which I now see people wearing pretty much every day.
Noel and Liam are set for life, whether they continue with more shows or not.
Benson blushes
THERE was no shortage of eye-catching outfits for Benson Boone as he kicked off his American Heart tour in the States.
The Beautiful Things singer played a 22-track set and wore a pink and purple suit, as well as a chic red top at various points during the concert.

But he made fans giggle before the show had even started, because of the shape of his stage.
Many suggested the long catwalk with a heart at the end resembled a man’s genitalia, and wondered whether he had done it on purpose.
Benson, who did his trademark backflip on stage, is a notorious joker so I wouldn’t put it past him.
And I’m sure there will be plenty more gags in store when he brings the tour to the UK at the end of October.
DANCING IN DUBAI FOR LISA
LISA SCOTT-LEE is opening a Pineapple Dance Studios in Dubai.
The Steps singer, who has a performing arts school there, is in charge of opening the first spin-off to the dance complex.

It is at the Mall of the Emirates shopping centre in Dubai, where she has lived for more than a decade.
But she’s missing a trick, as I haven’t heard a sausage about cameras following her for the venture, which could have been fun.
Lisa’s studio is part of a new project for her that also includes a 575-seat theatre, as well as a Pilates and yoga space.
Steps’ musical Here & Now starts its UK tour at Aylesbury’s Waterside Theatre in Buckinghamshire this Friday, but there’s a venue nailed down if they ever want to take it to the Middle East . . .
OLLY ALEXANDER has hinted he is turning his back on music after splitting from his record label.
The Years & Years star headlined Manchester Pride on Sunday but said: “This will be my last UK show for a very long time.”
He will be in the West End revival of The Importance of Being Earnest next month and is lining up more acting work for 2026.
MILEY MAC SONG ON DAD’S DAY
BILLY RAY CYRUS got a belting birthday gift from his daughter Miley after their feud ended– a Fleetwood Mac collab.
As Achy Breaky Heart singer Billy turned 64 yesterday, he revealed on Instagram: “Miley gave me the gift of music and wrote me a song called Secrets and got my favourite musicians Fleetwood Mac to play on it!”

Billy also shared a snippet of the special track.
It’s quite the feat if all remaining members of Fleetwood Mac are on the song – because it would be their first original music since 2003.
Miley previously teased that it wouldn’t be long before she puts out another album, so I’m hoping we get to hear this in full sooner rather than later.
Su, Lew and Sam too
SUSAN BOYLE looked like the cat that got the cream as she posed for a snap with fellow singers Sam Fender and Lewis Capaldi.
She had been in the crowd for Sam’s Summer Sessions Edinburgh show over the weekend, and then headed backstage to meet the Seventeen Going Under singer, where she also bumped into Lewis.

JOSHUA JOINS DATING APP
DAWSON’S Creek actor Joshua Jackson has created a profile on dating app Raya.
The Canadian star was married to British actress Jodie Turner-Smith from 2019 to 2023 and later had a short-lived romance with Black Panther’s Lupita Nyong’o.

But he’s now firmly back on the market.
Joshua, who was in Karate Kid: Legends earlier this year, was spotted on the app by a pal of mine and it sounds like it might be a good place to start if he is looking for love.
Last week, both Jessie J and Perrie said they had found their partners on Raya, so clearly it works.
PERRIE TO KEEP JESY GOODBYE
PERRIE has opted to keep a track about Jesy Nelson on her self-titled debut album, Bizarre can reveal.
She went back to the drawing board for the record after saying she failed to connect with the songs.

Perrie previously let slip she’d written a track about losing contact with her former Little Mix bandmate.
Fans assumed it had been canned.
But sources have confirmed that the song is still on the album, due out on September 26, revealing it’s bluntly called Goodbye My Friend.
One said: “Perrie re-did her album as she didn’t feel she connected with it. However, the track about Jesy has always been very close to her heart.
“Rather than being negative in any way, it’s a love letter to Jesy and the bond they had.
“There is no communication right now
“But some are hoping it could be an olive branch.”
