Ahead of the winter season, Mr Kipling is extending its ice-cream range with a limited-edition mince pie flavour.

The Mr Kipling Mince Pie Ice Cream will combine a creamy ice cream, swirled with mouthwatering pieces of spice fruit and sweet pastry pieces.

It’s set to hit shelves in Asda from the week commencing October 13 with each tub costing £3.00 per tub.

However, it will only be available for a limited time during the winter season.

Dan Jalalpour, Marketing Director for Desserts at Premier Foods commented: “Our Mr Kipling Ice Cream range has already seen us bring some of our most loved treats into the frozen aisle.

“Mr Kipling Mince Pie Ice Cream will provide shoppers with the chance to enjoy the festive flavour they know and love in a whole new way with our exceedingly good ice cream.”

And if you’re already looking to book your Christmas delivery slots, major supermarkets have started revealing the exact dates you can do so.

How to save money on Christmas shopping

Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how you can save money on your Christmas shopping.

Limit the amount of presents – buying presents for all your family and friends can cost a bomb.

Instead, why not organise a Secret Santa between your inner circles so you’re not having to buy multiple presents.

Plan ahead – if you’ve got the stamina and budget, it’s worth buying your Christmas presents for the following year in the January sales.

Make sure you shop around for the best deals by using price comparison sites so you’re not forking out more than you should though.

Buy in Boxing Day sales – some retailers start their main Christmas sales early so you can actually snap up a bargain before December 25.

Delivery may cost you a bit more, but it can be worth it if the savings are decent.

Shop via outlet stores – you can save loads of money shopping via outlet stores like Amazon Warehouse or Office Offcuts.

They work by selling returned or slightly damaged products at a discounted rate, but usually any wear and tear is minor.

But The Sun reported earlier today that M&S has made a change to its stores offering good to order and some shoppers are missing out.

The posh nosh maker said over 500 of its stores are offering the option to order pre-made cakes, main and party food ahead of the festive season.

And if you’re looking to stock up on your Christmas chocolates, one British supermarket has shared the exact date the popular Christmas chocolate tubs will be discounted.

The retail giant will be slashing down £2 off Celebrations and Heroes before the holidays.
