MAFS UK star Leisha Lightbody has revealed it’s not quite over yet for this year’s cast – as an action-packed new reunion has yet to air.

The brides and grooms of 2025 provided viewers with yet another unforgettable year of Married At First Sight UK, which gave us everything from cheating scandals and secret romps to screaming matches at dinner parties.

Scottish beauty Leisha Lightbody, who was married to boxer Reiss Boyce on the programme, took part in an Instagram Q&A as she trekked by train from Edinburgh to Manchester on Sunday.

And as the MAFS bride answered more mundane questions from viewers, one fan managed to ask what the rest of us have been itching to find out.

The anonymous user asked Leisha: “Is there a MAFS reunion next year and when will it air on TV?”

The outspoken star didn’t shy away from the question either – and in fact teased fans over what promises to be an explosive episode.

Responding to the fan, she wrote: “There is indeed !! And ALOT of drama happened’”.

It’s hoped that the upcoming reunion episode – expected in 2026 – will address a string of huge bombshells that have gone public since the show concluded filming.

This series’ cast has been dogged with behind-the-scenes drama, break-ups and scandals, with some more shocking than others.

Same-sex couple and fan-favourites Keye Luke and Davide Anica were one of the huge surprise break-ups of this season, after Keye was found by his cabin crew ex lurking on dating and hookup app Grindr.

While Bailey, real name David Bailey, and bride Rebecca Fenney also called it quits quickly after the show concluded, with the groom dogged with rumours he hooked up with a pal of co-star April Holmes – after cameras stopped rolling.

Rebecca also faced claims she went on the show while still in a relationship with an ex partner – but the aesthetics clinician dispelled much of that discussion after hard-launching her romance with Welsh women’s footballer and Liverpool star Lily Woodham.

While another show’s same-sex couple, Leah and Leigh, were also hit by similarly shady claims following their stint on the programme which led to a bitter split.

Leigh, who was one of this year’s most outspoken cast members, launched a number of scathing digs at former flame Leah, as well as firing accusations of cheating her way after the show ended.

Their marriage, which appeared doomed from the start, ended at final vows.

Leah has since moved on with female footballer Maz Pacheco, a defender for Women’s Super League club Everton and a former England youth international.

Steven Springett and NellyPatel’s marriage breakdown also provided some explosive viewing, after it was found that the Essex hunk was on dating apps during the experiment.

The couple went their seperate ways – with both moving onto new loves since the programme ended.

Meanwhile, Leisha also saw herself among the chaos, as her fiery marriage to Essex-native Reiss played out on screens.

The pair seemed instantly attracted to each other at the aisle, but things quickly descended into chaos after her intense questioning of the boxer led him to feel uncomfortable.

And the issue around the pair’s different relationship paces continued to be a road block throughout their time in the experiment – despite making it to the end, with the pair calling it quits quickly after the show’s conclusion.

Since appearing on the programme though, Leisha has made headlines of her own, after she was spotted sharing an intimate kiss with former TOWIE star Jack Fincham.

Their moment of passion, which took place at the Tulley’s Christmas Light Festival in Crawley earlier this month was caught on camera by an eagle-eyed punter.

Brunette bombshell Leisha, who worked as a dental nurse before marrying a stranger on TV, had hinted their brief fling was over before it began.

The next morning she had unfollowed Chloe Brockett‘s ex and deleted her Instagram stories that included Jack.

She has since told The Sun: “There won’t be anything further between me and Jack.”

It is unknown which MAFS stars will return for the reunion, as many of the most explosive cast members have tended to skip the ultimate reunion in recent years.

The reunion is expected to land on screens in early 2026.
