Married At First Sight UK bride Sarah has come under fire for her remarks about her new husband Dean.
During Tuesday night’s episode of the Channel 4 show, the couple were seen honeymooning in the Maldives.
It was clear from the outset that Dean wasn’t Sarah’s usual type, and things quickly got off to a rocky start when he rapped his vows – leaving Sarah and her friends visibly cringing.
In the latest episode, the pair shared an intimate beachside dinner when, behind the scenes, a producer asked Sarah: ‘Is there anything that Dean could do to ever get a sexual spark?’
‘Get some tattoos and lose some weight, maybe?’ she responded – a comment that quickly sparked backlash among viewers.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, fans wrote: ‘Sarah please, you must have known telling him he’s too big would upset him!’,

Tension rose between Sarah and Dean during their honeymoon dinner in last night’s episode.
As they chatted over the meal, Dean asked her: ‘Have you ever been with someone bigger?’
Sarah’s demeanour immediately shifted and she gave a firm shake of the head before replying: ‘No, nuh uh.’

The awkward moment followed earlier scenes where Sarah had already confessed to producers that Dean was ‘over the top’.
She admitted she didn’t find him attractive or have any desire to ‘rip his clothes off.’
Dean, clearly affected by the exchange, later opened up to the cameras about how hurt he felt by her blunt response.
He told producers: ‘It’s hard to hear. That has left me feeling empty.’
