MAFS star Rebecca Fenney has revealed the real reason she came across as “so harsh” to April Holmes amid backlash from their blazing reunion row.
The dramatic clash unfolded when April, 31, approached Rebecca in a bid to clear the frosty air between them.
Rebecca was not best pleased and she slammed April for breaking “girl code,” when it was revealed her best pal had slept with Bailey – Rebecca’s on-screen husband – just days after they split.
The reality star ruthlessly told April, “I would just never associate with someone like you,” as she tried to defend herself.
Fans of MAFS UK have hit out at Bec, calling her out for her harsh treatment of April.
But now, Bec has now spoken out amid the backlash and she feels that fans of the E4 show were right.

She said: “We filmed the reunion episode for I don’t know 14 or 15 hours the drinks and the dinner party and what you saw was condensed into an hours worth of footage.”
Addressing comments from fans about how she directed her anger more at April than Bailey, she explained “you just didn’t see it… you see very small snippets.”
Speaking on the April situation, Bec continued: “My anger wasn’t solely directed towards April, it’s just what you saw, how it was edited.
“And I’m never one to be like oh the edit was bad because I did say these things. I think I did come across as harsh and cold and upset.”
She explained she came across that way because they were dragging “stuff up” from months ago that they’d already had closure on.
The 33-year-old added: “I do think I was so harsh upon reflection with April because I was dismissive and I didn’t want to speak to her.”
Bec confessed she didn’t pull April for the chat and was determined to breeze past any interaction of the sort.
During the explosive reunion episode, April told Bec that she had urged Bailey Smith, 36, to come clean about sleeping with her friend.
But, Aesthetics practitioner Bec simply wasn’t on the same page.
She fumed that April should have told her but didn’t. And she was forced to ask her 48 hours later.
As Bec, from Liverpool, raged businessowner April was soon bawling her eyes out.
While Bec hasn’t made a complete U-turn on her comments she has cleared up why she came across so cold.
Elsewhere, at the reunion it was also revealed that Bec had been messaging her ex throughout the show.
Sales manager Bailey accused Bec of lying to him the whole time before he broke down in tears and stormed off.
