A MAJOR motorway has been shut after 250 litres of oil spilled across the motorway with the road set to be shut for several hours.
The M25 is currently closed anti-clockwise between Junction 5 (Sevenoaks) and Junction 4 (Bromley) in Kent.

Emergency resurfacing is taking place after 250 liters of diesel fuel spilled across all three lanes of the carriageway.
There are currently queues of up to 20 minutes upon approach.
National Highways said that while the recovery is complete, an engineer is at the scene to confirm resurfacing.
It is likely to be a “protracted job and the closure is to remain in place until at least this afternoon”.
They added: “This may cause significant delays today due to holiday-returning traffic and we advise road users to plan ahead accordingly.”
Motorists are urged to follow the hollow square diversion symbol on road signs.
