LUKE LITTLER crashed out on Night 1 of the Premier League at the first hurdle.
The Nuke – champion on debut in 2024 – was pitted against Gian van Veen in the quarter-final.
It was a repeat of their World Championship final at Alexandra Palace a week ago.
But Van Veen got revenge with a shock 6-4 victory in Newcastle.
