LUKE HUMPHRIES said he needed to get his “aura levels up” after winning a ninth European title.
The World No2 beat Jonny Clayton 8-6 to win the Belgian Darts Open in Wieze on Sunday night.

Humphries, 31, reeled off six legs on the bounce to take control of the final and got over the line after a fierce ‘Ferret’ fightback.
‘Cool Hand’ then also had a dig at influencer Charlie Murphy, who claimed he “didn’t seem to have that stage aura” anymore.
After picking up the trophy and £35,000, he said: “I’m just going to keep trying and keep pushing.
“Keep my aura levels up because I have to. Keep trying to be the second-best player in the world, apparently.
“I feel that my game is there, then it’s not and then it is. My scoring is good and my doubles are not. I got myself under pressure.
“Usually, I close the games out. But when you are not winning as much, it becomes harder. You feel the nerves and I did in the end there.
“Jonny is one of the most underrated darts players in the world. He’s just always there. You can’t shake him off and he’s got the perfect nickname.
“(The Euro Tour) is something that’s made me the player I am. I learnt my trade here. It’s the greatest tour in the world. I love it to bits.

“There’s been a lot of stick with the fans but you guys have been amazing this weekend.”
Clayton did fight back from 6-1 down to trail by 7-6 but Humphries held his nerve to get over the line with double 10.
