Luis Enrique ‘refusing to sign new PSG contract and will leave in the summer’ after being linked with two Prem jobs

LUIS ENRIQUE will reportedly leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer after refusing to sign a new contract.

The Premier League-linked gaffer led his French side to Champions League glory last season.

And PSG chiefs were expecting Enrique to commit his future to the club on a long-term deal.

His current contract expires this summer.

But the Spaniard has left his side stunned after reportedly refusing to extend his terms.

Marca claims Enrique feels he has achieved all he can in Paris.

The former Barcelona boss is now casting his sights on a new challenge.

And Enrique could have his choice of several jobs in the Premier League.

SunSport exclusively revealed in November that Liverpool are big fans.

The Reds continue to have doubts over Arne Slot’s abilities after the Dutchman failed to build on last season’s title win.

Jurgen Klopp is an option to return to the club should Slot be sacked.

But Liverpool would only ask the German back on an interim basis and would love to hire Enrique permanently in the summer.

Meanwhile, Manchester United will be on the hunt for a new gaffer after sacking Ruben Amorim.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Michael Carrick are in contention to lead the Red Devils for the rest of the season.

And Enrique could become the latest gaffer to try his luck at the Theatre of Dreams.

The Spaniard joined PSG in 2023 and has since led them to two titles, two French Cups and the Champions League.

Last term saw PSG do the Treble for the first time in their history.

Enrique won the Treble with Barcelona too back in 2015, adding another league title the following year.

He also had a spell as Spain boss and led his country to the Nations League final in 2021.
