A “LOVING” woman has been named and pictured as the victim of a hit-and-run as her heartbroken family pay tribute.
Kirsty Ireland, aged 52, was tragically killed in Dereham, Norfolk, at around 12.30am on September 17.
Police were called to a stretch of the A47 and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
In a touching tribute, Kirsty’s devastated family said: “We are devastated at the loss of our beautiful daughter Kirsty, who was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend.
“Words cannot comprehend the devastation we feel and Kirsty’s loss leaves a huge hole in our lives that could never be filled.
“While we grieve as a family, we ask for privacy at this time, but do ask that if anyone has any information that may help the police and their investigation, then please come forward.”
Cops arrested three people on September 19 amid investigations.
A man and a woman, both aged in their 30s, were detained on suspicion of causing death by careless driving, failing to stop and failing to report a collision.
A second man, in his 50s, was arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.
All three have been released on bail until December 9.
