Love Island’s Tyrique sets up All Stars girl with best friend Toby after brutal dumping by ex

LOVE Island star Tyrique Hyde has tried to set up US bombshell Kyra Green with his best pal Toby Aromolaran.

Kyra, who appeared on the ITV2 show as part of the American twist, was booted off the show alongside Curtis Pritchard following a public vote.

The pair had hit it off in the villa but things quickly turned sour after the show and dancer Curtis brutally dumped her.

Not wasting any tears over him, Kyra joined Tyrique on his Twitch stream, where he tried to play matchmaker.

Tyrique told the US beauty: “You really suit my friend Toby, I feel like you two would really suit each other.”

A surprised Kyra replied: “Really?! Are you playing matchmaker for me?”

Tyrique said: “I’m playing matchmaker for you, I’ll be honest with you.”

She went on to say: “I’ve never met Toby before.

“I’ve heard of him obviously because he’s friends with my friends.”

Tyrique then added: “When you come to London and we’ll link up.”

Toby, who appeared on Love Island All Stars in 2024 and The Games twice in 2023 and 2025, last long-term relationship was with Chloe Burrows.

Toby and Chloe met on Love Island in 2021 and they pair dated for a year.

Tyrique also appeared on The Games in 2025, having already done season 10 of Love Island.

Meanwhile, Kyra’s Love Island UK journey started when she joined as part of the US villa twist.

She ended up coupling up with Curtis but things went downhill after they left the villa.

During the All Stars final, Kyra ripped into Curtis as she slammed the star following his ‘disrespectful’ social media post.

She confronted him about him declaring he was on the search for a girlfriend still the day before Valentine’s Day.

Curtis’ move left Kyra blindsided and she had her moment to publicly confront him on the show.

Lashing out, Kyra said: “I thought things were good, until it wasn’t.

“That was posted only a few days after we left each other.

“We were all good and things were very romantic.”

Kyra then added: “It came out of left-field and I had no idea that was coming.

“I was like ‘what the f***.”

Curtis attempted to explain himself but was shouted down by Kyra insisting he was being “disrespectful”.

She spat back: “Clearly, I was irreverent in his mind.

“I just found it disrespectful as I got zero communication from it.

“I don’t take disrespect – that was disrespectful.”

Appearing to backtrack, Curtis agreed with her and confessed that the actions of his post were “disrespectful”.

His sister-in-law, The Challenge star Zara Zoffany, shared a post explaining she was looking for a new partner for Curtis.

Kyra saw the post and left a comment simply saying: “Ouch lol.”

She revealed that she and Curtis had been continually talking too each other prior to his post being uploaded.

Previously, The Sun reported how they had split with Curtis stating there was no point in Kyra travelling to the UK to see him.

A source told The Sun: “They said they’d see each other after the villa but everyone knew Curtis wasn’t going to fly to Hawaii where Kyra lives.

“Then Curtis’s brother’s girlfriend did that post about him being single on Valentine’s – so it’s over between him and Kyra.

“She contacted him saying she’d booked her flight back to the UK but he told her not to bother coming to see him.

“It’s over!”
