LOVE Island stars Tom Clare and Molly Smith have put their “dream home” up for sale less than a year after buying it.
The couple, who got together on All Stars series one back in January 2024, bought a house just six months after they started dating.
The stunning old-fashioned property, based in Barnsley, boasts a huge garden, three bedrooms, three bathrooms, giant open-plan kitchen and a games room.
Molly and Tom then renovated the inside of the property to give it a new modern look, including a massive gym for the fitness loving pair.
But despite pouring money into the house to make it perfect, they’ve decided that their future lies somewhere closer to the city.
A source told The Sun: “They loved the home but Molly feels it’s too far out and she would rather be back in Manchester.
“So instead they’ve flipped the property and will hopefully make a profit.”
Sharing pictures of their house, Tom and Mollywrote upon buying it in August 2024: “‘Home is where the heart is’ – We’ve officially bought our first home… we couldn’t be happier.”
The property is now up for sale at a value of £550,000.
Speaking about the house renovations in February, Molly said that they had invested their £50,000 winnings from Love Island All Stars into the property they called home.
She said: “We’ve spent the money and it all went to the house.
“We did wait and we saved it, but then obviously we found the house and wanted it.
“And you don’t realise until you come to do it just how expensive renovation is, and it all adds up.”
Tom and Molly got engaged in September this year, 19 months from the start of their relationship.
Macclesfield Town footballer Tom popped the question while the pair were on a romantic getaway in Dubai.
He had called Molly ‘The One’ in an interview with The Sun just months after getting back from the Love Island villa, and had started referring to her as “wifey” before they were even engaged.
