LOVE Island’s Mitchel Taylor has shared proof of what really sparked the feud between Scott Van Der Sluis and Whitney Adebayo.
The ITV2 star, who is known as ‘messy Mitch’ due to often being embroiled in drama, hit back with “receipts” as he admitted it was frustrating to see pal Scott be called a liar.
After the ITV dating show ended in February, Love Island’s Carrington revealed a bitter feud between Scott and Whitney and begged them to make up.
As many tried to work out what sparked the former best pals to fall out, Mitch said earlier this week that Whitney had called Scott whilst with his ex Catherine Agbaje.
The move was seen as disrespectful due to Scott’s relationship with Leanne Amaning.
Mitch said: “I’ll give you more insight… Whitney and Catherine tried facetiming Scott when he was with Leanne as they left the villa.

“Do you know what I mean, stuff like that.”
Scott and Catherine coupled up for 15 days on season 10 of Love Island back in 2023, but never had a lasting romance away from the show.
Now, as rumours have been swirling around the feud, Mitch has shared proof of the Facetime call.
Posting a screenshot – which seemingly came from Scott’s phone – to his Snapchat story, Mitch captioned the picture: “Scott’s been called a liar far too much recently.”
The screenshot showed Scott’s call history, which included a call with Mitch on 27 February – four days after the Love Island final.
Above that was a missed Facetime call from Whitney and Catherine, which had taken place on the same day.
Mitch then deleted the screenshot from his story, admitting Scott wasn’t happy with him airing it publicly.
“I’d have kept it on but my friend shouted at me again, I just don’t want him to be called a liar,” wrote Mitch in another Snapchat story.
Whitney and Scott were best pals before the villa but they have since unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Leanne and Whitney have also unfollowed each other.
Scott is yet to speak out on the feud, with Whitney’s boyfriend Yamen Sanders taking to TikTok to share that she has had a wave of trolling.
